Spreen Honda - Great Experience. Our experience at SPREEN HONDA could not have been better! We had been looking at Honda Odyssey's for about 2 months, and were looking for the best deal. When we found Spreen Honda, it was clear they had the best quoted prices by far. Simon Lopez, in Spreen’s Internet Sales Department could not have been more responsive. Every time we called or emailed Spreen with yet another question, Simon would get back to us within minutes! If our questions were in an email, we were answered within 5-10 minutes. If phoned, he would call us back, within an hour. We sent Simon an email at 9:30 one night, asking what colors and interiors Spreen had in stock for 2 different models, expecting to hear back in the next day or two. At 10 the same night, we got an email listing 27 Odysseys across 2 models with prices, and exterior/interior color for each car! Other dealers would return our calls after 48 hours or more! And emails were usually canned responses. Simon’s responsiveness (and pricing!) is what made it worthwhile to drive an hour (and pass 5 other Honda dealers on the way) to take a look at this car.

We were cautious, and a bit cynical about what we would experience once we arrived. We wondered if we would find a bait and switch? We also wondered if, when their Sales Manager took over, would he change the deal, or hammer us with adding a lot of "extras" in an effort to drive the price up?

As we approached the front door, Salesman Steve Chanez met us as we walked in. He sat with us and inquired as to what car and model we were interested in. Rather than dragging us through the lot to find the car, He left the showroom for a few minutes, and delivered the car right to the front door. He then walked us through every feature of the car. Even though we had looked at the car at other dealerships, Steve pointed out a number of features no one else had shown us. He knew this car like the back of his hand. We were not only impressed with his knowledge of the car, but also with his patience and willingness to spend as much time as it took. After all that...we even changed the color of the car we wanted. Steve said “no problem” and disappeared for a few minutes and again delivered another car in that different color, and parked it right next to the first one so we could compare them side by side. He is a delightful, competent young man who, in our opinion, is a valuable asset to this family owned Honda dealership. If you go to Spreen, make your appointment with Steve Chanez.

When we decided to buy the car, the sales manager, Andy Townes entered the picture. We thought this is where the deal might turn sour. Andy got to know us a little, and reviewed the purchase information with us. Andy did try to “up sell” some options, but, after listening to the options and prices, we declined them, and that was it – no hammering. Off to financing.

We met with Stephanie, who clearly knows the financing and DMV end. Stephanie was very personable and informative. She walked through the “options” again, but in more detail. She was very convincing, and another good salesperson, but, when we again declined the options, she very efficiently completed the paperwork.

Steve then met us at our just washed new Odyssey to make sure we didn’t have any additional questions. He set up the Nav system & the Bluetooth, and again walked us through some of the key features of the car. He spent a lot of time making sure we understood the car, but sent us off with “call me anytime with any question, no matter how small”.

We spent 3 hours at Spreen. Most of that was spent with Steve around the features of the car. “Buying” the car took about an hour or so. We had a very good experience at Spreen, and it was well worth the trip.

When we walked in the door at home, the phone was ringing. It was Steve, wondering how the ride home went, and asking if the drive generated any new questions about the car that he could answer. Nice!

The best deals in Cali. Hello everyone, We just bought our brand new 2012 CRV and we are so pleased with the quick and efficient respond that we got from this dealership "SPREEN HONDA" From the very first moment we started our search with Simon Lopez the Internet manager proving us with the car quotes right away and I mean within minutes he will send us our car quotes with the best lower price in the market.

Proceeding with their excellent sale department team just to mention a few names Tuan, Kevin, Rich made our car purchased so smoothly.

They really mean business. Straight shooters and willing to help you at their best knowledge without mention the JUST RIGHT SERVICE from their Finance department our now good friend Paul Clark helped us 110% closing our deal.

I am so happy to come across with SPREEN HONDA. Way to go guys!

I know exactly where to go for my future Pilot purchase. Even though I am from L.A. I will most definitely drive up to Loma Linda to get me the best deal in the market...

Thank you guys all for your help!!!!

Best Honda Dealer. Last friday I called Spreen Honda for a quote of 2012 Honda Accord LX. Then Mr Vu Tonthat immediately sent me the quote to match the price I wanted. Next day I just spent 2 hours in Spreen Honda to finish all paper work and car testing. Steve (Sales) and Stefanie (Financing) are very nice and very professional. I had a wonderful time there.

Spreen Honda is the best Honda Dealer in the world.

Best new vehicles purchase experience at Spreen Honda. My existing and past vehicles were made by Honda and a couple other manufacturers; I decided to buy Honda this year when I need two new vehicles for my family transportation. After doing extensive research online, I submitted price inquiries to Truecar and Edmunds for new Honda CR-V 2012 LX/EX models. The best prices emailed to me came from Mr. Vu Tonthat, Internet Director at Spreen Honda in Loma Linda. His price quotes, for new Honda CR-V 2012, had been at least a thousand dollars lower than any other dealerships in LA and OC areas, which made me suspicious at first but motivated me to directly call his number to gauge, double check on prices and available inventory. Once I talked, verified and felt a potential good deal to save at least a thousand of dollars on a new Honda CR-V, I made a leap of faith to drive together with my family 60 miles away from home to Spreen Honda in Loma Linda on Sunday 03/04. When we got there, a knowledgeable salesperson, Robert Roberto, helped us out with test drive, vehicle color/model selection, and sale paperwork for a new Honda CR-V EX based on the exact price quoted in Vu Tonthat’s email to me two days earlier. The Internet price quote is only valid for 72 hours, so in order to buy at the quoted price, make sure to have the email printout with you or tell the salesperson about the price quote email, if you forget to bring the printout, so s/he can retrieve the email from Spreen Honda mail server. The finance manager, Derek, helped seal the deal with the sale contract signed, and I finally drove home the new Honda CR-V EX 2012, after spending about 3 hours at the dealership. It was the best new vehicle purchase experience I have ever had with the lowest price quoted honored, without any back and forth negotiation, great sale/finance services and no hassle of added vehicle options pressure.

Feeling very satisfied of my first Honda CR-V purchase on 03/04, I tried to contact Spreen Honda again for my second vehicle purchase this month. Per my request, Mr. Vu Tonthat emailed me the price quotes for new Honda CR-V 2012 as well as Honda Accord 2012, which were again the lowest prices in comparison to other dealerships quotes. After checking available inventory on the phone with Mr. Vu Tonthat, my family and I repeated the same 60-mile shopping trip to Loma Linda on Saturday 04/07. Another knowledgeable salesperson, Mr. John Lopez, helped us out with test drive of new Honda, vehicle model selection and sale paperwork of another new Honda CR-V 2012 EX model based on the same price quoted from Vu Tonthat’s emailed to me a day earlier. However due to an unexpected mistake in sales inventory, the black Honda CR-V EX I had selected was no longer available on site for purchase. Spreen Honda’s sale staff and management apologized for the mistake and promised to trade their in-stock vehicle with another nearby dealership for the same Honda CR-V EX model having the black color of my choice. The finance manager, Ms. Stephanie Smith, processed the sale contract via electronically transaction to my credit union for financing. We had to wait a little bit longer this time for the traded vehicle and I finally drove it home that evening. My new vehicle shopping at Spreen Honda this month was probably my second best purchase experience due to a longer wait for vehicle trade, but by the end of that day I was very happy to get the same good deal I had previously had last month and satisfied by the courteous treatment from the dealership staff/management.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!. : We came in to buy a car about 2 weeks ago that we seen on the spreen website for $16,500 it was a 2010 honda insight ex. when we got to the Loma Linda dealership from which we came all the way from Hemet we were treated VERY POORLY! First the salemans named Dennis Anderson asked us how much we made a month and we answered with $1400. First thing Dennis does after hearing that is stand up and tell us there is ABSOLUTELY nothing he could do for us!! I was so shocked since I know dealers make commission off of a sale. He told us to look elsewhere and that hes "knows for a fact" that they will never approve us! He didn't even bother asking what we had for a down payment, nor if we had a co-signer, NOR what our credit score was!! We then left the office and returned with a co-signer. When we come back he still treated us as if he couldnt help. He acted as if we made no money, either that or he was a racist. After bringing in my co-signer, he asks her how much she made and she answered with 17,000 a month, I cant believe he did this but he actually said to her "U DONT MAKE THAT MUCH" and wrote down 6,000 a month!!!! I couldnt believe he did this but I had my heart set on this car and really really wanted to buy it so we stayed with him anyways. Our apr was set at 5.99% and they said they would let us know if it went down. We then received a letter in the mail denying us because the man in the office wrote 6,000 a month when she really makes 17,000! Thats not even all the problems we had at this dealership. When we bought the car he gave us a 1/4 tank when I believe they are suppose to fill up your tank before you leave. Also, we got no floor mats, the seal strip on the roof already came off the car, and our oil says its at 80% consumtion! This is ridiculous!! I have never bought a car from a dealership and had any problems before.
