In Short – Considering its size and crowds, Lelli's manages to be intimate and refined rather than impersonal and stuffy. Large leather banquettes line the walls, and a black-tied wait staff hustles to handle endless orders, pausing just long enough to prepare several dishes tableside. Six courses of hearty Italian food have kept diners coming back to Lelli's since 1939. The menu leads with the house specialty, broiled filet mignon, and features steaks, veal, chicken and seafood dishes, as well as no less than twenty different pasta creations. All entrees include an antipasto tray, a…

I saw some bad reviews so I decided to call the resturant ahead of time (the day before) and explain my reservations. My honey parked his own car and almost slipped an fell a few times on the ice in the parking lot, walking back. We got in the building and checked my coat and were seated right away, basically because the place was a ghost town at 6pm on a Saturday night!!!!! We sat for a few minuets and our server finally came over to the table gave us our menus and walked away. His name was Alex, right before he walked away I asked if they had Riesling,he replied that he did not know and would ask the bar. When he came back he asked if we were ready to order, I explained that it had been a few years since I had been there and it was my honey's first time Ya ever get the "doe in the headlights look?" He basically said that they are known for the filet and that was about it, I told him that we would need a few more minuets and he walked away again. We had to squint to read the menu because it is dark and I guess, romantic, then my honey said,"he didn't even ask us if we want anything to drink!" We decided to try to Chateu since that was the recommended cut of meat and I had never had it before, he did explain what type of cut it was, he took our order and left again, I was really expecting the whole nine yards, a complete explination of everything with a professional presentation by the server, we definately did not get that. No detailed explination of the cheese, beets, shrimp olives, nothing So after we finished our soup, our server came back to our table to let us know the kitchen was out of the pasta that is traditionally served with the Chateu and asked if we would like something else and said that it would take an extra 10 mins to prepare because the kitchen cooked angel hair to order,we got our pasta and I will tell you that it was not very good at all, very bland, I am NOT a big fan of spinich I was disappointed and we will not go back!
- Pros: seated fast...
- Cons: non experienced service...too pricy

I?ve actually been to this place twice and it gets better every time. The pasta and ingredients are unbelievably fresh and prepared to order. I ordered the veal parmesan, which was sublime. My mother had the penne alla vodka. Her pasta was so good that I knocked her unconscious and took her plate. Sure, I have to get a new mother now, but that pasta was worth it. The atmosphere is congenial with enough space for everyone to sit comfortably and the service is truly impeccable. Moreover, I?ve gone in twice with no reservations and I?ve never had a problem being seated. I cannot more strongly endorse this restaurant.
FANTASTIC SERVICE-TO DIE FOR STEAK!!!

Lellis was the location of my bridal shower for 60 people, and they not only worked with us on price, but gave us excellent service as well. They were so helpful with coordination and doing extra little things! We had a free signature drink they served and the servers kept excellent track of people's cash-bar orders as well. The 5-course food was overall fantastic, though the spaghetti is so-so. Minestrone-AWESOME, the filet-THERE ARE NO WORDS to describe it's flavor and tenderness. it melts in your mouth! Don't expect to get in and out quick, as this is a place to sit and enjoy your food, and the food isn't a hamburger, so it does take a little bit longer than McDonlads. The ambiance is rich and elegant, but you don't feel out of place if you come casual. The guests at my shower have even been calling me for weeks specifically to comment on how fantastic the food and service and entire experience was!
I love it! Best Bridal Shower ever!!!!
