In Short – Possibly the most romantic and elegant setting in the area, the Lark's 12 tables overlook a gorgeous garden, where many of the vegetables and herbs that are served are grown. The soft lighting, European decor and hushed tones are the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening. Rack of lamb--marinated in lemon, honey and garlic--and the mixed seafood in a roasted red-pepper sauce are highlights.
Excellent for a Romantic Night-Out

Loved it. Loved the food, the service, and the dessert. Excellent wine list. Get a booth if you can, sitting on the center tables can be pretty crowded. Somewhat creepy when the owner tells you that the nekked woman in the painting above you is his sister.
- Pros: Great service, good food
- Cons: None

This is absolutely the finest dining establishment in the area. The food is simply orgasmic, and the staff is ultra attentive and friendly. ask the concierge about his wine recommendations and you will find he is passionate about the subject. You will feel as if you have been transported to a romantic french chateux when you enter. Eat there once for a special occasion and you will find yourself saving your pennies and cutting back on lattes in order to return. It will ruin you for anyplace else.

You can't (and around Detroit, WON'T) do much better than this. Very European decor (meaning you're sitting on top of the folks next to you but in a beautiful space) with one wall of glass that makes the garden seem like it's right next to you. Wonderful food--go ahead and ask for a little of everything on the appetizer trolley (yes, they wheel out a whole cart of things and serve you at your table). Attentive, knowledgeable and unobtrusive service. We both took the price fixe option--about $75--(but forgot to ask for the wine degusatation RATS) and the food was just heavenly. I was tipped over the edge at coffee time: they serve a plate of whipped cream, a small pile of ground chocolate, and some fresh orange rind. Holy cow, what a meal to remember!
- Pros: food, Atmosphere, service
- Cons: none
