Not So Hidden Gem. I've lived in the Ann Arbor area my whole life and had only driven by the Tap Room until I read something about their blues bands and headed there with my sister. The band was excellent, the service was fast and very friendly and the drinks were top notch. Be aware that it is VERY VERY loud in there when the band is playing. You can have a loud voice convo if you sit in the back towards the door. My only complaint is that the woman's bathroom is incredibly small and there is only one stall.
