In Short – A giant mural of a roller coaster--commemorating a time when the property was home to a lakefront amusement park--and beautiful views of Lake St. Clair make this establishment a picturesque and comfortable place to dine. Only 20 minutes east of downtown Detroit, its modern decor and large dance floor make it the perfect nighttime hangout. Known for their seafood fare, the pizza is also a gem.

Very nice place to go with friends. Service was in a timely, professional manner. Music was great to dance to on the spacious dance floor. It was great to have a area outside to hangout at. I would come here again.

Really nice atmosphere, really good food, pricey--but some things are priced average and lunch specials are affordable. Wait staff very nice.

Hot Mess

What a horrible disaster! This is by far the worst place I have been to service wise.
A reservation was made for about 40 people, weeks inadance for a party, that was thought to be a great place to eat and party afterwards. A phone call was placed the day of the party to make sure that everything was set.
When we arrived to the Beach Grill, they didn't have enough seating for the entire party, and people were made to stand around and wait for the staff to correct their error. Once we were all seated, drink orders were taken. The order took forever to get back to the table, so most went to the bar to get their own drink.
After waiting nearly an hour and a half, and after two waitress changes, we had our food orders finally taken, not delivered, but taken. When the food was delivered, there were two food runners, who were extremely rude. Instead of asking who had ordered what, they just threw the plates on the table, and told us to figure it out. I didn't realize that we had come there to work that night.
Not all of the food was delivered, because one person in the party waited another forty-five minutes for a chicken wrap.
After three and a half hours we were finally free from that place. And instead of going to the Aqua bar like we planned on, we couldn't wait to get the hell out of that place.
Hopefully, the owner and managers take courses on how to treat people, and possibly retain business!
