In Short – Nestled in a sleepy, old-town style hamlet, "The Front" offers a martini lounge and American beer garden. Customers chill out in dark booths, on bar stools at high tables or elbow up to the bar. A handful of TVs, a pool table, darts and video games add to the fun. It also features hand-pulled English ales, weekend dinner specials, live music upstairs in the Dean Martini Lounge and live blues and rock bands on weekends.

Excellent Beer Selection

For those who like to experience a variety of beers, the Berkely Front is top 5 in variety. The line of taps at the bar is seemingly endless. The food is better than average, and the staff is generally very nice. I've had a lot of good experiences at 'The Front'. Definitely one of the best beer places in Michigan.
- Pros: Lots of beer selection
- Cons: Crowd tends to get a little 'uppity'

BEST BEER IN DETROIT

If you really enjoy a fine Brew this is a must visit! If you can't find a beer to your taste you don't like beer. Nice mixed crowd, and good food compliment the best (although ever changing) selection of beer in metro Detroit.

beer is life

Beer selection is great. Food is usually bar/pub style except when the owner cooks, then its very good german food.
Service never seems to be any better than "Fair" and its usually just bad, even if the place is empty.
