In Short – Two big rooms allow for different moods. Discreet clans sit at tables, while active bunches roam among pool tables, dart boards and video games. Televisions playing the big games are within view from virtually every seat. Lunch is crowded with locals on their breaks. In the after-work hours, yuppies come in droves. The Bermuda onion blossom, is a popular starter, while steak, ribs and fish are among the entree choices.

The People That 1 Starred This Are Nerds!

This is a great bar. The menu is much improved. The pizza is fantastic; the appetizer sampler is a great starter. The waitstaff is always very courteous and actually very fun. Drinks are reasonably priced; although they could stand to improve the happy hour specials, ie, BlackFinn. The people that 1 starred this probably got beat up in high school, and if I saw them at Mr. B's, I would steal their lunch money. All around, a great bar and a Royal Oak staple!
- Pros: Great Place to Party, Best Bar in RO 4 NHL and NBA Playoffs
- Cons: Worst Jukebox in town

Why bother...

The days when this was the place to be in Royal Oak are long gone. They have knocked down one too many walls and have lost all the appeal that the original place had-like a friendly place to hang out.
Stopped in there before a comedy show at Ridley's...overpriced drinks, pompous attitude (doorman? give me a break), and the food is about 20% overpriced as well. While they have the pool tables and TV's and all there's something missing-an identity. There's nothing there that makes you want to come back, just location and with so many other choices even that isn't enough.
Entertainment coupon may make it worth the stop but drink water and get out quick. Shame.

horrible dining experience

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I order a burger without mushrooms, and it came with mushrooms and nothing else. I informed the waiter and he sent it back to the kitchen and told me "I wrote it down right", and offered no apology. A new burger came 10 minutes later, this time without mushrooms and now the bacon was missing. 10 minutes later, I was able to flag down the waiter and I informed him about the wrong order and his reply was "Why did you wait until now, I've been by twice." In fact, he had not been by twice, but had walked past the table a few times to other tables he was waiting on, never saying a word to us even though I was trying to get his attention. He brought a bowl of bacon and walked off. As he was walking off, we asked to speak to a manager and then he said that he would try to comp my burger. He brought the receipt saying he had comped the burger, but it was still on the bill. We told him and without a word he took the bill and came back later with the new bill. We told him that the experience had been pretty poor and he responded "I know" and laughed. On the way out we talked to the manager, and he said that the next time we we're there to remind him and that "our order would be perfect". There wont be a next time though. This was a horrible experience and I would highly recommend not going here.
