Fantastic Mexican Food in the Desert

I had a facial while in Palm Desert last weekend and asked the esthetician for the best mexican food in town and he said "Armando's". It was a great recommendation and it was so nice to be greeted by Armando himself. The Margarita menu was expansive and I loved the Banana frozen margarita. The Guacamole was so fresh and tasty and I really enjoyed my chicken mole enchiladas too. Next time I'm in Palm Desert i'll be back at Armando's.

WORST MANAGEMENT, TERRIBLE SERVICE, LESS THAN AVERAGE FOOD! STAY AWAY. THIS IS A TRUE REVIEW FROM A NORMALLY PATIENT AND LIKEABLE CONSUMER!

Armando's management is abismal. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I have gone in the past (the food and service was mediocre at best) but would never go again. No class. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know.

1st Class Mex Food!

We had dinner here at Armando's twice in the space of 5 days, it was so good. Everything tasted homemade / fresh- from the delicious salsa to the tamales. This restaurant also has a great ambience and very friendly service. The "Cadillac" margarita is the way 2 go, if you are the designated drinker (NOT driver!!!). Be sure to try the tamales verde and the pork burrito! Reservations would be a "must" on a Friday night "in season". Would even suggest making them off-season on a Friday / Saturday. We will be back!!!
