In Short – This offshoot of a popular New Orleans hangout for politicians features decor of dark woods and comfortable booths, with a separate bar scene. Choice cuts of custom-aged beef arrive in sizzling butter on 500-degree plates. The menu also offers chicken, pork and seafood entrees along with Creole appetizers like shrimp remoulade. Family-style sides include gargantuan onion rings, creamed spinach and various styles of potatoes. Traditional homemade desserts like cheesecake and bread pudding conclude the meal.

Fabulous Steaks and sides

I've been to one other Ruth's Chris steak house before, but last friday was my first time at the Palm Desert location. The steaks were perfectly prepared and the side dishes were delicious as always. I did tell the waiter that the Thai sauce with the onion rings was a bit too sweet for my taste but the onion rings themselves did not disappoint. My Filet was perfect and their creamed spinach is fantastic. I'm now a big Ruth's Chris Steak House fan.

Best Steak

This was my first time dining at the Palm Desert location, having been to the Ft Lauderdale location many times I knew what to expect, and I was not disappointed. The steak is absolutely the best I have ever had in my life, I usually go for the porterhouse, everything on the menu is top notch and worth a try, sides and desserts are fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly. I'd eat here every week, or every day for that matter, if I could afford it. 1 Porterhouse (for 2), 2 sides, 1 dessert. 1 drink= $109.00 and worth every penny.

Great steak, great service, perfect ambience make a great dining experiance. One of the best places for steak lovers in the desert.
