I went to urgent care at hawthorn med this past august for terrible knee pain,xrays were performed and a knee brace given.After a couple of weeks with no improvement they set me up to see dr. Pocze which I did against my better judgement since I have rarely heard anything positive about him. Anyhow, very poor experience. He could see nothing wrong with my knee and his attitude was,,,what do you want me to do about it? His only suggestion was pt and he said he could not justify an mri since they cost a lot of money. (urgent care had suggested this may be the way to go). Dr. Pocze has very poor social skills and in my opinion picked the wrong proffession. It really hurt to pay this bill for the poor service I received. Thank God for Dr. Adelberg down the road he straightened me out in one visit and my cost was less than half.
