Extremely Disappointed. We have a summer home in Chatham & been regular patrons of the Hot Stove for several years now and was always pleased with the food. We have often sat at the bar & have always been happy with the bartenders & service. Recently we visited with a larger group & 2 small children. The service was awful. Our waiter was rude, slow, unfriendly & we had to ask for things (such as plates & utensils twice). Since we had a few complaints we asked at the hostess station for a manger. After a bit of confusion about who that would be, we were told by the fill-in manager that they stood by their waiter and they "DID NOT NEED OUR BUSINESS". So we will not be going back.

Nice little pub. Stopped in for a quick dinner and found a great little pub, the food was great, the beer was cold, the service was very attentive and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend the clam chowder it was fantastic. We liked the mix of locals and vacationers.
