The Scene – Masterfully snuggled into a simple old house, Sweet Life sits at the end of the busiest and zaniest of Vineyard streets, Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs. The feeling is intimate and romantic, due largely to the fact that you are eating in a dining room, complete with china cabinet, real doorways and a tiny front porch. – – The Food – Superb. We dined on The Sweet Life Cafe's outdoor patio this summer. It was beautiful! The service was incredibly professional, but not stuffy. The food was absolutely delicious and filling without being too heavy. I ordered the scallops which were seasoned perfectly. My husband had beef with 'bone marrow crust' which he thoroughly enjoyed because it was so tender he didn't have to use his knife! The creme brulee desert did not disappoint either. We ate at a different restaurant every one of the four nights we were on the island and this was by far the best!
