Citysearch Editorial Review.
Studio Cinema defies the typical indie-movie theatre stereotype (snooty arthouses frequented by hip urbanites in search of under-the-radar cult films). On the contrary, this Belmont theater is very much an all-ages affair, with programming geared as much to family flicks as it is to the experimental film scene. The storefront façade belies the size of the spacious single-screen theatre; the tiny foyer hosts movie munchies including a sweet trail mix made with caramel corn, nuts and dried fruits, as well as popcorn made with real cheese form Vermont’s Cabot Creamery.
