Belmont residents fill this quiet, welcoming cafe to enjoy gourmet Italian sandwiches and gelato.. In a tony suburb that's devoid of affordable dining options, Angelato provides a comfy, inexpensive spot for a freshly-pressed panini sandwich or creamy, authentically Italian gelato. Sandwiches like the "Stallion" (roast beef, provolone, roasted red peppers and seasoned olive oil) use Boar's Head meats, and imported Prosciutto di Parma pops up across the menu. Fresh salads and sides (hot stuffed cherry peppers) round out the offerings. Specialty gelato flavors, all of which are made in-house daily, include peanut butter chip, chocolate hazlenut and pineapple.

Bravo Angelato Gelato!!!!. Molto Bene!!! the best gelato i've had since arriving from Napoli. Excellent service, authentic and professional. A must for all ages. Bravo!!! Angelato.

BEST GELATO EVER!!!. The best thing about Angelato is their HOMEADE gelato which is made by Jonathan. His special talent has for too long gone unnoticed, not to mention his excellent customer service, always making you feel welcomed, special, and right at home. Thank you so much for all the wonderful flavors which have brightened so many of your customers days. 2 Thumbs up for Natalie, who is always cheerful, friendly, and courteous!! And thanks to Shant who makes all his customers laugh, and to Mike who makes a Mean sandwhich, and to Kathleen who is a mother hen to all her employees! Angelato's is the best and THE OWNER REALLY KNOWS HOW TO PICK 'EM!!

Best gelato in Boston. I haven't had gelato like this since Florence Italy. Honest to God, everything was delicious. They import their ingredients and the gelato making equipment which is the only way to get that rich texture that is far superior to traditional ice cream.
