Awful food. The veggie burger was awful. They only served a few fries on the side.

The Cobb Salad was small and uninspiring. A boring salad for $12! Seems like they are cutting back on costs because everything, including the veggies burger, was small.

And $15 for macaroni & cheese?

I have eaten at Joe's before and liked it but this time I concluded it just isn't worth it for the price.

Good food, nice athmosphere - terrible service!!. Ate there for lunch on 3/20/10. Mediteranean chicken and clam chowder were not bad, waitress was terrible. So much so that we didn't leave a tip and had to write a comment on the card. She just short of ignored our repeated requests for the check, rolled her eyes when my asked for water and did not bother to ask how the meal was.

This is unusual for this chain as at other locations service has been fine and usually a manager asks how everything is going Maybe this was a rogue waitress or there was no manager on duty. I literally had to walk to the bar to pay the bill because the waitress was so dreadful. Will be giving this chain a break.

Great food, great service, great restaurant!. i went to Not Your Average Joe's for lunch on a Friday afternoon with a group of 10 people, was seated immediately, promptly served the most delicious bread with an amazing garlic-cheese dipping sauce. i could have just had that and left satisfied.

our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. it was most of our first time at the restaurant and he answered all of our many questions about the different (there are tons of them!) entrees, salads, pizzas, specials. i had one of the specials: cranberry teriyaki chicken with asparagus and butternut squash. the butternut squash was incredible. so good i went home that weekend and attempted to replicated it, unsuccessully however. the spices they used were delicious and i would definitely order it again. i have a huge sweet tooth, and all of their desserts come in these mini-martini glasses. it's the perfect amount to indulge your sweet tooth without feeling sluggish when you walk out.

after our bill came, which was unexpectedly reasonably priced (less than $20/person including appetizers, entrees, desserts, tax and tip!), the hostess came to our table, asked who had been there before, and gave all of the "newbees" a $5 coupon for our next visit. this place is incredible and i will most definitely be going back. in addition, the decor is very modern and seems like an upscale, chic restaurant that belongs in a city, but luckily doesn't have the prices or stuffy atmosphere that so many times goes along with that.

thank you Not Your Average Joe's for a fantastic dining experience!

Everything on the menu is the best food for the price. I've been to this place over 10 times and never had bad service or food, and there is plenty of parking around back.

With a lengthy menu of dependable comfort food and inventive pizzas, there's nothing average about this popular area chain.. The Scene
Each Joe's location handles a steady flow of hungry families and casual couples tired of national chains' bland cuisine and soulless atmospheres. While most nights bring standing-room-only crowds, waiting for a table can be avoided by sitting at the bar (the better to sample from a surprisingly varied, affordable wine list). Servers, in constant motion for hungry masses, manage to keep baskets of spongy focaccia filled.

The Food
While most diners come for the eclectic, stone hearth oven-baked pizzas (shrimp and artichoke, spicy "voodoo" chicken), it's a mistake to ignore the rest of the varied menu. Start with a freshly made cobb salad; full of grilled chicken, applewood-smoked bacon and avocado, the heaping plate is large enough for three diners. Entrees consist of casual (savory Black Angus meat loaf) and contemporary (Mediterranean salmon with balsamic-tomato-caper relish) options. Mammoth desserts include kid-approved favorites like strawberry shortcake.

One of My Favorites. It can be crowded so use call ahead seating. There is usually room in the bar area if you have to wait. Once seated, the waitresses are always prompt and friendly. The bread & olive oil w/cheese & spices is out of this world (yes, very fattening & loaded w/ carbs). That said, they will custom make your dish to suit your diet. I love the salads, the spring rolls, and pizza, but would caution that steak is not their strong point. Great ambience, though it can be a bit loud

Sit back and relax. The atmosphere, service, and food are fantastic. I've been there several times and the food has always been perfect. They cater to any diet and try their best to make you happy. I have to add that the music is great too.

Lacking to be desired. We arrived to a hostess area crowded by four hosts/ hostesses- complete overkill for a Monday night at a medium sized restaurant. The Caesar salad was the worst I've ever had. My pasta was overcooked and my boyfriend's steak tips were accompanied by incredibly dry and tasteless mashed potatoes. It took over 15 minutes for them to go back to the kitchen and cut a piece of key lime pie which was pretty pathetic considering the over abundance of staff. The decor of Not Your Average Joe's may look appealing from the street, however I urge you to reconsider your restaurant choice and perhaps try Stellina's (located right next to Joe's) or one of the other wonderful restaurants on Main Street.
