In the barn you'll find a varied, mouthwatering produce selection plus gourmet cheeses, baked treats and fresh-cut flowers. The quality of this store is top notch. The staff is very friendly, produce is amazing in or out of season, the bakery is scrumptious(try the banana chocolate chip mini mufins).Plants are beautiful, really a great place.I am a true "farmie" I have been to almost every farm in CT,MA,NH as far as stores go this is one of my favorites! I am about an hour away but make the trip at least once a month.....So worth it. If your there with the kids they have farm animals in the barn-just ask someone how to get to the stairs that lead you down.
Oh and I forgot to mention try the Scalloped potatoes in the prepared food section YUMMY!
excellent quality---but VERY PRICY!

Fruit and produce is definetly the best quality in Boston area - beats Russo's by a mile. But-you pa for it - all produce and fruit is about 30-40% higher than nearest competitor (Russo). Place is fun to visit for families. Flower Dept is run by a woman who seems frustrated and has minimal ability to conduct cordial discussions with customers. If they were smart - they would move her someplace where no customer interaction is required. Otherwise - all is great quality but PRICY!
- Pros: quality, freshness
- Cons: price
Top Notch Produce

Wilson Farms is a treat and an experience unto itself. The produce, cheese, meats, flowers, plants, etc are of the highest quality that I have found anywhere. You'll pay the premium price, but in my opinion it's worth it. You'll eat every single strawberry in that quart you buy -- the tomatoes taste like they came from your own garden.... go there on a Sunday for fresh bread and cheese..... The staff really know their stuff. I go there maybe once every two weeks and I've never seen them low on any of the stock. I've purchased veggie platters and fruit platters to bring to work events and they're always well received.
- Pros: Unbelievably fresh produce
- Cons: Crowded, no matter what time of day
