Awesome food Homestyle. Best food in Plymouth. Food has been consistant for 40 years. Breaded pork cutlets are the best. You can't go wrong. When asked what's a good place to eat I always direct people to the Colonial.

Swordfish heaven.. They only have swordfish from time-to-time as a special but it is the g**damned best Swordfish I have ever had. This is a great place to eat. You could not go wrong with their other items either.

The food has the fresh taste of old fashion goodness.. The retro diner interior is gone but the food is still Great.... The large bone-in pork chops are to die for. This is THE place to get fish and chips, broiled haddock, scallop, and sometimes salmon, or flounder and that's in a town full of seafood restaurants. The en trees can come, if you want, with real wonderful plain old mashed potatoes and there is a list of veggies to choose from. My favorite is the pickled beets. The daily specials can include hot dogs and beans , roast chicken, fish cakes, and plenty of "like home made" dishes, that your mother couldn't be bothered to make anymore. Bring it on. The food is always consistently tasty. And really, with deserts like Jello and grape-nut pudding, how can you go wrong. The wait staff is friendly and professional, which is a welcome added bonus these days. I don't care much for those high tables, though, they are better suited to a bar than a great little restaurant.
