General Tso's Chicken = Yummy. The General Tso's Chicken is amazing! I have been to many Chinese and American-Chinese restaurants, and Wang's knows how to do it right. Lightly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and delicious sauce all over. For $10, it is a little pricey; and, adding fried rice + an appetizer could bring you to $15-$18 for the entire meal. But, for $10, you get a lot of chicken for the money. So much so, in fact, that if you ordered just the General Tso' Chicken and nothing else, you'd be full. So, expect to have much leftovers if you will be eating alone. Else, the General Tso's Chicken is best finished off with 2-3 people eating it.

Best Dumplings in Boston. If you want traditional authentic hand made Chinese dumplings, this is so far the best restaurant in Boston. The cold dishes are great too. Stay away from other stuff, and don't expect much service and decor.

Best Chinese Take-Out I've Had. And I've had plenty.

Their dumplings are amazing and delivery time is always impressive (even in blizzards).

Ironically, their service is somewhat slow if you sit down, but their house tea may tempt you to do so.

wangs wins us over 144 dumplings later!. modest sized and unpretentious, wang's wood paneled dining area flaunts christmas cheer even in february.

in somerville, it's too cold outside to fire up the grill & relax under the grape arbor, so we recommend the corner table at wangs under their own vine of plastic purple grape lights. grab your tea from the self-serve dispenser and get up for refills often to work up your appetite. we tried all of the dumplings. delicious. steamed won out over pan fried, handily. if you're a dipper, you can use the side ginger sauce or create your own. tables come stocked with soy sauce, vinegar, and chili sauce. delicate, yet tenacious, wangs dumplings are mess-free even for the chopstick rookie. served with such speed, its hard to believe theyre handmade. peek into the kitchen and you'll be likely to see someone restocking the dumpling tray with a deft hand.

User review by veda815. Wangs is the only Chinese restaraunt in the area I order from. There food is very tasty and their delivery times are the speediest I have seen. Sometimes I wonder how they even had time to prepare the food the delivery has come so fast.

Two can eat for under $20. If you're looking for authentic, unpretentious northern style chinese food, Wang's is the place for you. Having been there numerous times, Wang's is a true hidden gem of Somerville. The ambience and service is zero, but what they lack they make up with the food. Most dishes are priced between $5-10 with their dumplings as their specialty. But the rest of their main dishes are quite good as well, with a delicious vegetarian hot and sour soup that seems to stay hot for at least an hour. The restaurant is small, so its good for at most 4 people.

WANGS FAST FOOD ROCKS!!. Wangs Fast Food is an incredible experience!

Having been to China 4 times I can tell authentic North Chinese food when I eat it. The dumplings are superb as is cucumber salad and stir fried vegetables.

One previous reviewer complained about 'cold food' and the fact that he had to 'walk over and serve himself tea'...... The Boston area is truly lucky to have an establishment like Wangs Fast Food here. Most of the resteraunts in Chinatown offer "American style' Chinese food. Their can be no comparison between so called 'Crab Rangoons' and 'Lobster Sauce' and delicious authentic Chinese cuisine. When eating out it is the quality of the food that really matters not the decor of the resteraunt.

For those people who have been unable to go to China and taste authentic Chinese food the wait is over...Wangs Fast Food is here.

JUST LIKE SHANGHAI!!. I was in Shanghai and I had the best dumplings in the world. I never thought I'd ever have quality dumplings again.. That's until I went to Wangs fast food.. Wangs is top notch TRADITIONAL chinese food. Words can not describe how many times I've been there enjoying the succulent pork and leek dumplings. On the wall there are plenty of great dishes straight from Mainland China. I mean, this place is strictly specializes in Mainland Chinese food.. Don't go there thinking you can get Taiwanese sausage, Singaporean noodles, or Cantonese noodles.. I mean, they may have it there, may be good, but you go there for the great food FROM MAINLAND CHINA... I suggest eating (besides the dumplings) szechuan chicken (chuan wei la zi ji) for instance.. Ask Wang Yi, the charming waitress, for traditional suggestions. Anyway, Wangs is programmed on my cellphone's voice command because its worth it.

Best Chinese Food outside of Chinatown. Authentic Chinese food located outside of Chinatown. Not Americanized! Go for the dumplings, sweet and sour fish, spicy beef soup, beef and hot peppers (real hot!), or Leek Pie. Great food and great value! They deliver too!
