OK fabric selection but very poor customer service.
The fabric selection at Sew-Fisticated is OK, but the customer service is very poor. The staff seemed to resent having to help me. I was waiting in line with my bolt of fabric, and when the woman cutting fabric (the manager?) saw that there was only me left, she put down her scissors and walked away right in front of me! Then, when the cashier finished ringing people up, I told her that I wanted 1/2 yard of fabric. She told me that 1 yard was the minimum cut, so I agreed. When she unrolled the bolt and found 1 and 7/8 yards left, she informed me that she could not cut 1 yard, since she had to leave 2 yards on the bolt. I asked her why the store had this policy, but she couldn't/wouldn't explain, and she walked away right in front of me as well! I had planned to buy quite a bit of fabric, findings, etc., but this bad attitude on the part of the staff did not make me want to spend any money there. I will buy what I need elsewhere, and I hope they improve their customer service! Just because it is a discount store does not mean that the customers should not be able to get what they came in for.
