Zaza Salon and Spa

ZaZa is a must ! :). These are the sweetest people you will ever meet. I did not have my phone for a while, made an appointment over email, they were super nice. When I went for my appointment today, the lady checking me in took my coat and was very sweet ! Everyone there asked if I would like anything and it's a definetely has that home feeling. I got my hair fully highlighted today, with Kendra. Highly recommend going to her! She was very nice and it felt as if I talking to someone I've known for a long time. Then I got my hair shampooed, and the lady is like little tiny adorable girl and she was super nice. My hair feels AMAZING! and it looks super great ! My nails look great, and I liked the fact that the other nail technicians talked to me. It's truly a great place to go to! They want you to look as good, and are possibly the nicest salon I've been to in a while! Great workers, great manager, overall great place to go to !…

Receptionist was a witch!. I enjoy walking in a salon and being greeted politely, with a warm smile, and respect. Unfortunately, I made my first visit yesterday for a pedicure.. and right when I walked in I was appalled. The young girl at the front of this spa was cold and rude. I was cheerful and needed some nice relaxation.. but this girl didnt even greet me with a smile. She checked me in after bluntly asking my name and I sure didnt feel welcome. I dunno if she was having a bad day or what. But she was busy looking at me up and down as if she had known me personally. I was shocked and disgusted. Misery loves company thats for sure. She was a plain jane.. stick thin.. pale.. straight boring brown hair.. too much eye make up for the morning hrs. Typical treatment from girls like her. Who would wanna go back to that place? Made me sick, felt like I was back in high school. So sad and low class. Who needs that? Definitely will never step foot in there again.…

OK, but not a salon I'll go back to. Very friendly staff when I arrived and I received a tour or the facility which was nice. As we just recently moved to the area, I told the colorist what colors and line my prevoius stylist used. I'm a 4N so I didnt expect her to tell me that I was almost black (a level 1) I also told her my hair tends to pull red, which isnt a big deal but she was adament that she had a product to fix that.

I don't know if I've ever had a bottle rather than brush application for root touch ups but decided..hey, what the heck She was the only colorist in the salon and she did an efficient job zipping through everyone. And that was the extent of my time with the colorist.

Once my color processed, I was handed over to the shampoo girl who washed, conditioned and applied the toner to my hair.

Then i was handed off to the stylist for my cut. He asked what I wanted, and I said I was happy with my current cut but needed an overall trim...dead ends cut of, etc. His response was" I didn't see you when you came in so I don't know what your style looks like" great.

Overall, I had ok color that still pulled red and an ok haircut. Nothing horrible...but certainly nothing to rave about. I'm much more comfortable having one stylist handle me from start to finish so I will not be going back.…
