Excellent "homeade" birthday cakes delivered to campus

We live several states away and I was hoping I could find a Cambridge area bakery that would make a delicious birthday cake to be delivered to my daughter's dorm. I ordered the Summertime (lemon) cake online and my daughter received it exactly during the time frame I had specified for delivery. She said the cake was delicious and very nicely decorated. The leftover cake kept well in the refrigerator and she and her friends enjoyed it for several days.

• Cons: Can only place online orders 2 days in advanced

Their frostings can taste too buttery. But overall my friends and family and I only buy Rosie's Cakes and Konditor Meister. Konditor Meister is still our favorite though.
