My husband took our teenage daughters car in for her state inspection we have a couple of auto repair shops we use but this custom auto was located were he would be driving today. We take her car in for regular maintenance and check ups as we want to make sure she is in a safe and reliable vehicle. Everytime we bring it in we are always told that the car is in excellent condition and does NOT need any repairs (most recently 2 months ago by a very respected mechanic) So my husband was very surprised to hear that Custom would not pass her car for the inspection without doing almost $600 in repairs! He asked to see what needed to be fixed they showed him the oil pan and showed that it was leaking a great deal of oil. The funny thing about this is when we got home the spot my daughter parks her car in had NO OIL SPOTS! we brought it to our regular mechanic and guess what none of the repairs needed to be done, besides replacing the NOW leaking oil pan, which they suspected custom of poking holes in it! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR THERE.

Scam Artists – I would have given Zero stars if it would have let me. In this economy, who wants to get ripped of and spend $ on repairs you don't need? To be fair, they have been a good place for years. But I heard they were under new management. And that management is NO GOOD.

The case: I took my '07 Chevy, (24K miles) to get an oil change. They told me I needed new tires. Well it turns out my tires were very worn. They hadn't performed well. I could see that with my own eyes. BUT, they told me three of the four cambers on my car needed to be replaced for around $250.

So, I took my car to the dealership. I trusted that they really needed to be replaced. But I thought maybe I could get them covered under my warranty. Imagine my surprise when I found out they were not in need of being replaced. The cambers on my car are all just fine. So guess who ended up getting the $ for my new tires and who will get my future service. Even though they are farther away and cost a little more I will be going to the Chevy dealership from now on.

I urge anyone to avoid this place as they have changed and are no longer reliable. I cannot forgive a business of trying to screw me even one time because I am a female and I guess they took me for gullible. Really, turns out they are the fools.

Also, it never hurts to get a second opinion.
