This old so. Calif. winery is one of few located in the highly-urbanized Inland Empire's Rancho Cucamonga - once home to 30 plus Prohibition-era wineries. The region known historically for sweet
dessert wines and robust higher alcohol red wines - Zinfandel, Grenache, Carignane, Mission. The winery is operated by the Filipi family offering a large selection of bottles (corks, twist offs, large 4 liters from several different California regions. The local reserve port and sherry were best of the tasting which takes place at the large old redwood cask bar. Staff is helpful, prices moderate to high. Tours are available - call for hours.…
