Excellent Food. Overall I thought our dining experience was really good. Can't discuss service as we went pre-concert at 5pm and they had just opened and we were only table there on a Monday. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes and Soft Shell Crab and both were really well done. The Crab comes on a bed of wild rice with large al dente beans which was excellent. The tomatoes had crab in between the layers and was also very tasty. Entrees ordered were Shrimp & Grits, Rabbit Pot Pie and the Trout. Everyone was very happy with their choices. My dish was the trout which had pieces of bacon. My favorite bacon, Benton's. You have to love a place that is smart enough to serve Benton's. My only criticism was the drinks, we ordered a off their House Drink menu and got a Mango Basil, Cucumber, and Strawberry Martini. The Cucumber chill was very interestingy different along with the Mango Basil but none were drinks that would have made me order another round. In Fact we all decided to switch to wine & beer. Any drink over $10 should be addictive in my book.

great food good ambiance. I went there with a dinner club I found the service to be good the charges were all done correctly which is hard for a table of 30. The fish special was wonderful, nice addition to Nashville's line up of worthy restaurants.

Not so much. When one of the first things out of the waiters mouth is that the kitchen is running behind tonight one should take the hint and head for the door... Instead we placed our order, the first course came pretty fast but then the longgggggg wait for the entree. So long in fact that the ice in our non replinished drinks melted... Our waiter disappeared along with our entrees into some other world... About 40 minutes after our first course the entrees arrived.. one of which had the wrong side item...

Overall the food above average or perhaps it was just that we were so famished that anything would have tasted good?

Cross this one off the list of places to try unless you have all the time in the world...

Miro District or Smoke & Miro. Here's the scoop for you petite eaters... the waiter made a big deal about the seafood being flown in fresh daily, so we went that route. Conclusion - it must have been flown in on a tiny Cessna 152. The serving size made dishes in Paris look like something from Outback. My mahi mahi was so miniscule, I can't imagine the price per ounce of my dish. It would be a painful calculation. The atmosphere is chic and upscale, but you pay handsomely for just that.

We wanted a liesurely dinner and visit with friends, but we were hustled through the process, as if there were a need to turn tables. Alas, the house was at about 50% occupancy, so we didn't understand the rush. We could have kept drinking, but we ventured elsewhere for dessert and coffee.

My sense is that if you want to grossly over pay and be hurried through your meal in the name of hip, then Miro District is the place. For me, it was Smoke & Miro.

Excellent Food and Service. I went on a girls night out and Ryan the bartender treated us like queens. He made lots of recommendations and they were all very good. We had three appetizers the shrimp pasta and the filet and three deserts please save room for that. The food was very very good! I will be coming back and bringing everyone that I know. This is a place that should not be overlooked. Thanks again Ryan for a wonderful time, you and your place are awesome!

Miro, for Gosh sakes how hard up are you?. Not a review of the food, did not dine. However, $14..00 for a glass of the house wine? Wine that would sell in a grocery store for #3.00 in any other progressive state? Give me a break. I would not return to this place with the fire department if it was on fire. Few customers, bad economy, marginal ambiance, grousing bar maid, over price attempt at being something. Across the street in all directions works. Sort of nice try. Good bye.

Not Sure Yet. I can't decide how I feel about this place yet. My boyfriend and I went for lunch last week, and I didn't really like the atmosphere. It's kind of "just there". Maybe it needs some art or plants, but it feels kind of cold and uninviting. The food was great. I had the grilled fish and it was fabulous. The boyfriend had a burger and ate the whole thing before I could even get a bite. Our server was good and knowledgeable. But to me, atmosphere is important, and this place is too special to look so not quite finished. Jazz it up, guys! Make people want to come in. I think you'd do better.

Excellent night out, quality service and food. Great menu with superb variety. Appetizers baked formaggio, apple crisp salad and calamari mix were all presented very well and were very tasty. You could sense complex ingredients that were balanced very well.

The risotto with scallops entree was excellent and were some of the freshest scallops in town. Will definitely put into a rotating list of local stops.

Interesting, well executed food. I had a great experience at Miro District this past week. The food was thoughtful, perfectly executed, if not entirely creative. The Frutti di Mare appetizer was great, as were the cheeses on the cheese plate, I just wish there had been a bit more thought as to the accompaniments on the meat and cheese plate. A pear salad was excellent, as was a mushroom scallop risotto and a braised beef cheek. Service was knowledgable and unobtrusive. A good addition to our cities dining scene.

nice bar, bland food. I've been 3 times since the opening and I've been underwhelmed by the food so far. The bar service is very good - they know their stuff. I'll be back for drinks and maybe a snack...but that's probably it. I had really high expectations and it's simply fallen short each time. For the money, it should be up there with the other "biggies" in town (Margot, Flyte, Radius, Watermark, etc), but I don't think it is yet. You can tell the quality is there, but the food is always lacking for me for some reason.
