This place is a hidden gem. This place is a hidden gem that only the locals seem to know about!

Plum Island Grille is fabulous - there's a Chef Owner so the food is fresh and perfectly prepared with lots of interesting nightly specials (a treat for the local foodies who go often), the service is incredibly professional (these people have been trained!), and the atmosphere is wild beachy in the summer and warm & cozy by the fire in the winter. The cocktails are strong (try the Plum Island Rum Punch) and, if you go early in the summer, you just might get a one of the highly coveted tables on the "Sunset Deck" with views overlooking the marsh - it's worth the trip out of town every time!

Fish Done Right. An island oasis! They know how to prepare fish. I usually order the Mahi Mahi and it has always been superb. This isn't a local fish, but you'd never know it wasn't given it's fresh taste. In the summer, I recommend sitting out by the bar(cabanna) if you want a real island feel and ocean smell. All the waitstaff are very friendly and I've always found the service to be very good.
