The best Indian in Newburyport

We've been eating at this place, which we only spotted by accident and decided to try, for about 2 years now. The food is well prepared, the waiter (who may also be the owner) provides good service, and the prices are really fair for the amount of food you get.

It's off the beaten path, away from the bustle of downtown Newburyport, and hard to spot unless you know it's there. It's not a place for a romantic dinner, and don't expect a ritzy atmosphere. It's all about the food -- a classic local hole-in-the-wall restaurant.

As a plus, it's the only place in the area with Himalayan cuisine, which is an interesting twist since much of it is a fusion of Indian & Chinese.

Hidden Jem!

This place is great! If you are looking for true Indian food you will definitely find it here. I especially reccomend the Mango lassi's and the coconut naan. You will always get a table and the service is quick. This is a casual place that you can bring kids to.
