the way car buying should be.
ever since the first phone call, the folks at the auto mall have been honest and straightforward with me. they didnt make any crazy promises to try and lure me in. they were upfront about how much negotiating they could and couldnt do.
this was one of the biggest reasons my husband and i bought our vehicle from the auto mall. all of the other dealers that i called promised that they would shave thousands off of the asking price, but when we arrived at those dealerships, the person we spoke with was nowhere to be found.
thanks alex for getting the car serviced and cleaned up on such short notice. we'll tell all our friends about you guys!
North Shore Auto Mall. North Shore Auto Mall has been serving the greater Boston area for over 17 years, specializing in pre-owned vehicles at extremely competitive prices. BBB accredited rating of A+, buy with confidence!
small, but efficient operation. the no-pressure attitude at north shore auto mall was a breath of fresh air compared to the new car dealers that my husband and i have been visiting all week. we have been looking for a car for almost 5 weeks now, and we're both getting tired of being hounded to buy a car. josh at auto mall was very helpful and did not try to pressure us into making an impulse buy. we will be back soon.
easy and fast financing. thanks to don and javier who got me approved for a loan on a mitsubishi outlander even though i didn't have the best credit. would recommend to anyone, thanks again!
Stay Away From This Auto Dealer. Our family went to this car dealer and was not treated well. First, this place discriminates against its customers; when we got in, we were left unattended for almost 40 minutes, until we tried to get their attention. It appears the place is owned by some asian guy and his son came to attend to us. We sat down and tried to negotiate the price to come down since there were a number of things that were amiss; they came back and told us that they would absolutely not budge on the price. We then asked them for a test-drive; after test driving the car we made up our mind that we were going to buy it and asked them for a purchase agreement. The owner's son said that it would take just a few minutes for him to draw up the purchase agreement, but to our surprise he kept going around in circles. Finally he and his father came out from a back office and sat down at a computer nearby and pretended to be working on my case as they were speaking in some asian language; in a few minutes the son came to me (after exchanging some information with his father in a foreign language) and told us that we had to put down a $500 deposit before they could process the purchase agreement, and they needed all our insurance information. When we insisted that all we needed was the paper work stating that they had agreed to sell the car to me, they started playing games and told me they would send it as soon as someone in the back was finished dealing with another customer. The son of the owner proceeded (rudely) to tell us that our time with them was done. We decided to cancel our dealing with this auto dealer and drove away. This place is not a good place to buy a car from and their discriminatory practices are very subtle but easy to pick up if you pay careful attention; stay away from them.
We made it clear that our policy was that if you wanted us to hold the car for you, a $500 deposit would be needed to take the car off of the market. We also made it clear that this $500 deposit was completely optional and that it would not be needed for us to give you a purchase agreement. We did have a customer in our office signing paperwork, so we were not able to prepare the purchase agreement in a timely fashion, and for that, I apologize.
bought a honda.
my wife and i originally went to kelly honda to look at some certified accords, but the salesman that we had there was very pushy and kept trying to pressure us to lease a brand new one.
after leaving kelly honda, we drove by the north shore auto mall, which is on the same street, and saw that they had more than a few of the type of accord we were interested in.
an hour later, we were signing the paperwork on a 2008 honda accord that was still under warranty. kelly honda wanted almost $3,000 more for the same exact car. buying from auto mall was a no brainer for us.
we are very satisfied with our purchase and would buy from them again.
Thanks for your purchase, we hope to see you in the future!
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. They violated state law. The consumer is protected under Chapter 93A. They deceived me into purchasing a vehicle with failure to notify me the vehicle was in two car accidents. Now my trade in value has plummeted and I am pretty much screwed. They are required by law to tell me this and did not. They under paid me for my trade in because the car had too many miles on it and they couldn't guarantee it, so they would have to send it to auction. Yet at the same time sell me a car from their lot that had TWO accidents......very very bad people. You are free to do what you want, but I highly suggest NOT going here.
BMW Test Drive.
Saw a BMW X5 they had listed on Craigslist and called to make an appointment to go in and test drive it. Car started up and drove perfectly, interior was pretty much spotless. Whoever details the cars down there does a good job, because the car looked brand new.
My salesman, I think his name was Josh, did a pretty good job at showing me around the car and explaining to me and my wife (who are in our 50s) all of the gadgets and whizmos.
Will recommend to others!
Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!
Satisfied Customer. Purchased an Acura TSX from North Shore Auto Mall about 2 weeks ago, drove all the way from Rhode Island because the car we were interested in had less than 20,000 miles on it, which was a big selling point for us. The buying process was typical, but they really went above and beyond when we called them to let them know that we accidentally left some things in our trade-in. They saved us a trip back and mailed us all of our things. My husband is satisfied with the monthly payments and I absolutely LOVE MY NEW CAR, win-win for everyone :)
Thanks for your purchase, we hope to see you in the future!
