Gret Place

Ever since the new management took over a little more than a year ago, the Dub (as it's more commonly refered) has really turned around. The food is good and it's a great place to go on a Thursday or Saturday night. It can get a little crowded on the way to the restrooms, but you get used ot it and its typically when all the college students are back in town. All in all, definitely worth a try

• Pros: Hot wait staff, Good pub food, Great place to meet friends or new people!
• Cons: Going to the bathroom when it's really busy can be a pain.

Horrendous Service, Sub-Par Food

It's such a shame to see a Lowell landmark go down the toilet. If you're hungry - don't bother. The service is terrible, and rude (they feel inconvenienced if you ask for a refill). The food is ALWAYS late, and it's bland (but, in their defense, it is Irish food). If you're thirsty - it's okay. If you have a seat at the bar, you're good to go. If it ever gets packed (which is very seldom nowadays, just a few local drunks), you will have an impossible time getting to the bathroom down the row of fat people along the side of the bar. There used to be good music in there on the weekends, now it's the same old acts, playing the same old songs, and they're almost entirely ignored. Go somewhere else.

Irish pub in downtown Lowell

The Dubliner is a great Irish Pub. You don't normally think good food in the same thought as Irish pub but we have never had a bad meal there! The scallop dishes are wonderful and the burgers are hearty and cooked to perfection.
