PROS AND CONS – THIS IS ABOUT FRIDAY/SATURDAY NIGHTS. IVE NEVER BEEN THERE ON ANY OTHER NIGHT.
They play games to seperate the session up a little bit. Thats good.
The floor is nice.
Saturday nights are free for parents.
They dont repeat the songs. (most of the time)
The owner is there which is not usual for most places.. its good. But he is always in and out going for a smoke. Yet others cant do that?..........................
No room to skate.
Over crowded most of the time.
The employees give mean looks.
They spray this awful smelling/cholking fog.
They're a bit too pricey.
When the DJ is not there, the music is bad.
You can have lolipops, but not gum? WHAT THE HECK!?!!??!?!!?!?!
The session is a little short.
They yell at good skaters for going to fast, yet they dont yell at the people who go fast and make people fall.
The manager shines a police light at you and you get blind and its too hazardous.
Not much parking.
The lockers get used but people dont pay so that people that will pay have nowhere to put theyre shoes.
Most of the skaters there dont know how to skate.
You get wrist bands, and they hurt.
They're bathrooms are way too small...exspecially where the toilets are.
The toilets are really low to the floor and when you stand up, you go into the door.
The girls mirror is not even a mirror.. the boys room has a mirror.
Theyres this one skateguard who just stands in the middle blowing the whistle at kids who are not even going fast.
The whistle is so annoying.
No room; on the skating floor or off.
A BUNCH of kids smoke alot of illegal things outside and they let them in.
They have a medal detector but dont even do anything if it beeps.
I go every week so no lies here.
worst service ever – ok where do I start, first of all ive been planning my daughters birthday for a while now I live 3 hours away from skateland,I reserved a party with the "manager" there. also comfirmed with an employee.Mind you my daugters 6 years old. She wanted to have her party there since she was 5. well they dont require a payment untill you get there for the party. So after getting everyone to come and coming up with the minimum 8 kids at 12.50 per child. I go down there and try to pay for the party, And the manager tells me I m sorry I made a mistake for that date, and were not open, only night skate, which wouldnt of been a problem if my daughter wasnt 6. .The worst part about it is he did not even try to accomadate me. Didnt even offer anything for what he did.I will never go there again, whick is hard for me because ive been going there since I was 7 years old,I dont recomend skateland for any birthday partyies. Thanks to pilgrim lanes or my kid wouldnt of had a birthday party.
