Joanne has been my hair stylist for almost five years now and I've never been disappointed. She is incredibly talented- she can look at a person and tell what style will best compliment their face shape. She can also remedy hair disasters. I twice tried to dye my hair from a box- a different color each time. Both times she was able to make my hair go back to its usual appearance- natural highlights and all. Recently I had to cut several inches off my hair bc it was brittle/dry, and I was nervous because I typically do not like the way short hair looks on me. Despite this, Joanne was able to create a look on me that I genuinely love and find flattering. Additionally she is easy to talk to, friendly, and very professional.

Another great blowdry & color by Joe Luciano. Joe is the best and his blowdry lasts for days!! Salon is comfortable and there is always a great vibe / energy. The check-in/check-out process is easy and quick and the entire team is always personable and friendly! Definitely a must try in downtown Andover…

Joanne is THE best! Working as a sales representative for a large company, I have been required to travel to many different cities throughout the country. I have tried an abundant amount of salons during my stays in various locations, but no stylist provided me with the cut and color I was hoping for. After arriving home to Boston, I saw a woman with this great, modern hairstyle! It seemed to fit her perfectly, and was different than most styles I had seen. I approached her and asked where she had gotten her hair done, expecting the name of a Boston salon. To my surprise, she told me that she had gotten her hair done by a woman named Joanne in Andover, MA. She gave me her number, and I scheduled an appointment with Joanne as soon as I could. After the first time Joanne styled my hair, I knew I had found the perfect hair stylist for me! She had provided me with the style I had described, but had added her own personal touch to make it even better! She not only envisions modern, creative styles, but creates them on clients! With Joanne's creativity and skills, I would trust her with any idea she has for my hair! Currently I reside in Boston, and travel to Philip Ciampa Salon in Andover every few weeks to receive a cut and color from Joanne! She is worth every minute of the drive! I wouldn't go to anyone else! I have referred many of my friends to her, who all are very pleased with their results also.

joanne melonas!. joanne? the salon is lucky to have her! to say that she is the best cutter, stylist, and colorist is an understatement....I am lucky enough to have known joanne for over 24 years...yes, when she worked in la jolla california, I found her! lucky me..am fortunate that she loves california too, and on her last vacation she stayed with me and cut my hair...best cut in years! I miss her and hope to come see her at Philip Ciampa salon... soon.

Jen Stern is a talent!!. I followed Jen to Philip Ciampa. I did not know that I would be even happier with her skills at her new location. The product line for color treatments at Philip Ciampa is superior and has improved the texture of my hair and I like the actual color better too.

Jen makes sure her clients are completely happy. She will spend time figuring out exactly what a client wants and when asked she will give her own creative ideas. She does not try to give you the exact same "do" each appointment unless, of course, you want it. I like to mix it up sometimes and she is always up for the challenge. She is kind and honest and hard working. I highly recommend her!

Great cuts and highlights. I have been getting my hair cut and colored with Monica for the last 5 years and each cut is perfect and my color always comes out great. The salon is well kept and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a great salon.

Jamie Ciampa is great!. My parents introduced me to Philip Ciampa Salon a couple of years ago. Both of my parents have been going to Philip for over 25 years! My mom introduced me to Jamie Ciampa and we hit it off right away.

Jamie asked me how I wanted my hair to be styled and I told her straight and she has been styling my hair that way ever since. I have been going to her over 10 years now. She is great to talk to, very personable, only wants the best for her customers, and takes time with every of her customers’ hair.

She actually styled my hair for both of my proms and now she will be styling my hair for my wedding. I will definitely recommend her to all of my friends!

Great services!. This salon is really spacious and relaxing and has a great vibe! The location has easy access to parking. My stylist, Jaime, is great! I have gone from wanting red to brown to blonde hair over the years and he is always up for the challenge! He knows what shades and cuts look best for me and is a great listener. The staff is welcoming and I look forward to each visit!

Jen Stern!!! Most Amazing Stylist Ever!!!. I have been a client of Jen's for years and can't say enough good things about her. She always approaches each appointment with passion and an amazing energy. I always feel like she's learned something new every time I see her. Without a doubt, the most amazing stylist!!! I loved coming to see her in her new place! What a great environment! Very well laid out and welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait for my next visit!
