“Best Thai food I found so far (outside of Thailand)”

“The wait staff is attentive and friendly.”
“On the plus side, the service is friendly and relatively fast, and prices are reasonable.”
Curt and Bad survice. I absolutely surprised at the MANAGER who always behind the counter she has totally bad personality with the customer ,how the owner let her runs business that's so shameful bad!!! I didnt like when she yells the waiters or waitress durin g the day while customers around But the foods is good I know I hate this lady ....yes I do, I also have Thai friends she said this lady names (Winnie its mean HOTDOG )Thai people in Ma. expecially in Boston thai comunity knew about her very well I never heard agood things about her never ever ,she ruin everyone.
Delicious duck dishes!!.
The Thai Sweet Basil is one of my absolute favorite restaurants.
They're not too expensive and their service is friendly and usually very fast.
I get the same dish everytime I go there: the Siam Duck, it's delicious!
There are a few dishes that I've tried there that I haven't enjoyed and they don't have many options for dessert, but any dish with duck is going to taste great.
Terribly disppointing place & rude Manager and waiters. Reading other reviews it seems like I am not the only one! The lady behind the counters there is insane. She is so bossy makes you feel like you are not the customer but a beggar! So rude, don't they know a thing or two about customer service! Specially these days when there are tons of great places to eat out. I would absolutely never go back there & do not recommend it unless you wish to be treated like a piece of trash and whats worse pay horrendously for it as well.
Best Thai food I found so far (outside of Thailand).
The food tastes very fresh and is the most consistent around. My family and I eat here every week so the consistency is important. The PAD THAI is excellent and has just the right spice and bite for my palate. The rice dishes (especially SIAM FRIED RICE) is a fragrant dish where each flavor compliments the other very nicely (again, I'll say consistent). My wife love the tom yum soup and my son love the Sui mai appitizers.
The service is exceptional! The wait staff is attentive and friendly. They are patient and will tell you about the items on the menu in detail if you ask. They are one reason we keep coming back.
In summary, Thai Sweet Basil is about the best restaurant I've found for Thai Food in the eastern US.
These people demand tips rather than begging.. There is a lady in the counter who is very demanding for tips.she keeps bothering every customer .She is so senseless .
Some of the best around.
I am addicted to Thai food and try out new restaurants constantly, always trying to find the best wherever I travel.
Fortunately, Sweet Basil is relatively close to where I work. I began eating there every Friday and have now converted most of my office to fanhood.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is almost always the best I've had and can be made to order without hesitation (very important for vegetarians like myself).
Quiet Andover eatery churns out fresh, healthy Thai fare..
In Short
For an Asian restaurant, Thai Sweet Basil is exceptionally health-minded--no artificial ingredients, including MSG, are used, and many items can be made without salt or oil, upon request. The lengthy menu includes all the usual suspects--papaya salad, pad Thai, pineapple fried rice. Offbeat options include a sizzling platter of whole sea bass with tamarind sauce or crisp, roasted half-duck in red curry.
Food is so-so. The noodle dishes are better than the curries and pan-fried dishes, which are mediocre. On the plus side, the service is friendly and relatively fast, and prices are reasonable.
