Terrible Experience

I had the worst experience at this bridal store this afternoon. My maid of honor and I went in hoping to find some dresses for her wedding and the staff was extremely pushy and did not listen to our ideas. This establishment has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Do not bother going there. Waste of time...

Fabulous experience!

From the moment that I entered the store, the experience could not have been better! In fact, I am the mother of the groom, and I had already ordered my dress from another bridal salon when I happened to drive by Abbey's and noticed a beautiful gown in the window that I just HAD to try on. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable! The gown looked great on me but the time to the wedding was too close to go through the regular ordering process. Abbey's had to put a rush on it and tracked it every step of the way to make sure that I received it in time for the wedding. At the time that I ordered the dress, I was not sure if I would be wearing it to the actual wedding or to the formal rehearsal dinner that I was hosting the night before the wedding. In any event I needed the dress to be ready on time. It arrived exactly at the time that was promised, hemming was all that was needed because the staff was right on target to order the correct size even though the one that was the sample was not in my size of course. The shawl that was ordered to go along with it, did not quite look right and the staff at Abbey's pointed that out to me even before I saw it and went to great lengths to select a shawl that complimented the dress beautifully! In essence, I did end up wearing the dress to the rehearsal dinner and looked spectacular! I would also like to add that the cost of the dress was VERY reasonable, MUCH less than I expected and the alterations were free! I could not have asked for a better experience and would HIGHLY recomend anyone part of a bridal party to lessen the stress of the planning of the wedding in part by going to Abbey's and enjoy the experience and be confident that they staff at Abbey's will do their very best for you to make your day as special as it can be!

WOW is all i have to say I just had the absolute best experience at The Abbey! I went to several Bridal Shoppes today and found nothing. Well, I HAD no idea what to do or where to start with planning my wedding. I walked into the Abbey and expected to look through wedding gowns myself. Jessica (one of the consultants) explained to me that they were out back and she would bring them out to me and that they did everything by appointment. My wedding is in 7 months and I guess im cutting it close on finding a dress. She told me that it took 4-6 months to make the dress then i need alteration time. I FREAKED I have never been to a wedding so i had no idea where or when to start. THANK GOD FOR JESS! although they did everything by appointment, and i did not have one, she said she would take me right then and there. She found me the dress of my dreams! AND she gave me business cards to a florist and a baker. She is now helping me plan my wedding. I cant beleive the attention all the girls gave me! They told me what complimented me and was not afraid to say that "This dress is not your dress!" I was absolutly not a price tag to them. AWESOME SERVICE! I cant wait to go to my first wedding, MINE! :0) WAY TO GO ABBEY!
ps Shes even coming to my wedding to tie me and my bridesmaids into our dresses! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
