Newpro doors
by Richard Merrill at Citysearch
Products were well priced and well built. They measured twice and cut once. When they ran into a concrete wall, they made changes on the spot that worked well. The installers were professional, fast, and considerate of our concerns.
- Pros: solid produce and good installers
- Cons: took a while to get built
Storm Doors

Very good servive. You get what you pay for i.e. the doors were the best I've seen and the service installation was on time, clean, polite and of very good quality.
- Pros: High Quality Doors
- Cons: Price
Great Windows

I wanted to upgrade my 14 windows because some storms were stuck and wouldn't open,. I called and was offered a sales rep the next day. I thought 3 hours was too long for a presentation but the windows, triple pane and UV filtering sold me along with the written recommendation from This Old House on avoiding vinyl for my size windows.
I like the fact that they're locally made, custom built and have a lifetime warranty.
The price was very high at about $23,000. He told me that quote was valid for 2 years but would be lowered about $5000 if I signed in the next few days. I was angry at first but realized that this made sense as many people waste the sales rep's time trying to bargain down the price.
With the federal rebate and all I'm paying a little more than $1000 per window installed
The installation was fast three weeks later taking only 5 hours with 2 ecperienced installers.
I am now very cozy with the thermostat turned down, no storm windows and few curtains.!
- Pros: Triple pane UV blocking
- Cons: Epensive
