The Scene
As part of the far-reaching Back Bay Restaurant Group, Papa Razzi mirrors sister establishments like Joe's American Bar & Grill and Charley's by serving an accessible, family-friendly menu at affordable prices in a relaxed setting. Soothing color schemes and black-and-white photos of the famous and infamous (a nod to the restaurant's name) provide plenty of atmosphere, as do gregarious, attentive servers. When there's a wait, grab a stool at the well-stocked bar to pass the time.
The Food
While perusing the menu of colorful salads, wood-fired thin-crust pizzas, and made-to-order pasta dishes, most diners absent-mindedly devour a basket of warm, freshly baked focaccia and breadsticks. Palatable insalata di campo, which combines mixed greens, dried cranberries, tomatoes and Gorgonzola in balsamic vinaigrette, makes a worthy starter. Among the signature pastas, the Porcini tortelloni, smothered in a savory wild mushroom and tomato sauce, is a sturdy crowd-pleaser. For dessert, creamy gelatos provide a cooling finish.

Dont go in thinking you will get something spectacular- the menu is just alright. Standard Italian fare- no surprises. A little pricey and the location is hard to get to.

Paparazzi has been around for a long time. It has always been good, but I think it's gotten even better in the past year or so! The entrees are more interesting, and the food seems better prepared, more sophisticated. Given the woefully limited options for decent dining in Concord (now that Aigo Bistro is gone!) Paparazzi is top of the list. Pros: great menu, well-prepared food, full bar, changing specials, lively atmosphere Cons: can be loud, our waiter's accent was incomprehensible!

There are chains that the server acts like we grew up together and then there is honest service. My wife and I enjoy the route 2 location because the service is just that honest! They are knowledgeable about their menu and wine list (atleast they appear to be) and they sell specials like they want one themselves! They give attentive service but don't interrupt your conversation. There are alot of chains where the server talks alot and rushes you out for the next gratuity. We just want great food & drink in a nice atmosphere and we always get it at Papa Razzi in Concord.
