5 Stars for Bimala. I highly recommend Bimala. I have been to a range of salons around the Boston area, from expensive to Hair Cuttery type salons and no one has done as good of a job on my cut and highlight as Bimala. She listens and does what you ask for. Not only that, but she is consistent - each highlight and cut is fantastic! I am so glad I found her!

Bimala is the Best. Bimala is the best. I've been going to Bimala since she opened her new shop in Watertown. On a dreary winter day, my hair a serious fright I stumbled into her humble shop and was transformed and sold; she turned my coarse, frizzy, hair into the exact shade of chocolate brown I'd been seeking and smoothed and blew dry my hair into magazine worthy shiny silky locks, seriously, she's that good. She just started working with this new organic hair color which I really love, if I can avoid using chemicals and get this kind of color, all the better.

But the that I really like about Bimala is that she's a highly skilled, sensitive and intuitive stylist, she senses immediately if there's something you don't like, and asks you about it, she listens and adapts accordingly. Definitely check her out.

A gem in Watertown. Bimala has cut my hair for several years now. She is a highly competent cutter with lots of experience. She listens to my needs and delivers excellent service. She is a color expert too. Bimala knows the latest styles as well as more traditional looks, depending on what you're looking for.

Consistently Great Haircuts. I've been going to Bimala for years and I always leave satisfied. Once or twice a year I will try out some other place, and I've not found anyone better than Bimala.

What I love is how she remembers what I like for a cut/style, and she's able to adapt when I ask for something a little different. She's conversational and an overall very nice person.

Her business is well-situated, and you'll usually find street parking. It's near a Bertucci's, but there's a clear sign above her door. She's in the process of updating the decor, so don't judge it too much; it's getting there, slowly. Be sure to tell her Jesse sent you. ;)

Best Color & Cut. I've been going to Bimala for over a year now. I get so many compliments on both the cut and color. Her work is consistent not like others who may give you a good cut a few times here and there. Bimala is professional -always calls back right away making it easy to schedule an appointment. Recently, she started using an organic color system which is sooooo awesome. My hair feels softer, the color is great and it seems to be lasting longer. No more of that nasty ammonia fumes! Bimala is the best!

Best Highlights in Town. I have had my hair done by other hairdressers but never have I had my highligths done the way Bimala did them. I will highly recommend her to others. She is patient, professional, and friendly. Perfection is what she strives for and regardless of whether you want a good hair cut or some great highlights, she is worth a try.

Unbelievable Color, Cut and Style!. Bimala is a creative, professional, and visual hair stylist. I had unruly thick curly hair and she turned my hair into a masterpiece; short, sleek and stunning with unbelievable color. Not only is Bimala a joy to be around (very friendly and easy to talk to) she is an amazing stylist who will never steer you wrong. When you leave her chair you can be confident that you will be looking your absolute best!

Amazing hair, every time!. I first went to Bimala on the recommendation of a friend. That was 5 years ago and Bimala has been doing my hair ever since. Both for cut and color, Bimala is amazing! She takes that time to understand what you want and does a fantastic job. I recommend her constantly to all my friends.
