Great food and atmosphere. You will not feel like you are still in NJ when you walk into Avenue. Raw bar was excellent as well.
SECURITY THUGS. I had my wedding at Avenue this sunmer and it was beautiful. The food and atmosphere was great. I booked the nightclub for my wedding until 10:00 p.m. but at 9:30 me and several my guests were being physically pushed out the doors by the brutal security staff. One of my guests was kicked in the leg and another was cursed at by the security staff. The head of security, Aaron, actually followd my wife into the ladies stall and threatened to arrest her because she went to the ladies room in the locker room. I am still considering filing a lawsuit againt these thugs. Five months after my weddi my guests still complain about the way they were treated by the security staff. Great place for a summer wedding but plan on shelling out some money. BEWARE of the security THUGS!!!…
Best reasturant in the area..... Without a doubt the best restaurant on the shore. Great staff. Great servers. Great bartenders. Great management. Excellent cuisine. Beautiful decor and fantastic view. What else needs to be said?
Great Shore Restaurant. Fast service and good food. You will enjoy the atmosphere. Wonderful view of the ocean. Easy parking
Stay Away. The most over-hyped, over-priced, shallow venue on the Jersey Shore. Food quality was very poor for the price. Service was mediocre. bathroom was filthy.There are way better places out there. Try Julias on First Avenue in Atlantic Highlands...fantastic food and no attitude.…
