I had been thinking about coloring my hair for years but since I never touched my hair I kept on going back and forth with the decision until I finally decided to just do it. My best friend Samara works at Heavenly Hair and the most she ever did to my hair was blow dry it. To some hair is just hair but my hair is everything to me and it takes a while for me to trust someone with it so when I came to the decision to do it I thought why not just have Samara do it? So I did and I'm happy I did because she gave me exactly what I asked for. She was very patient with me and listened to how I wanted it to look and not to look. She also gave me a trim and did great. I can see the passion and love she has for her career as a hair stylist and I know she will get very far. I would recommend Heavenly Hair Salon to everyone!

I was in desperate need of a stylist who could not only give me a great cut once, but remember what she'd done so the next time I came in, she could do it again! Because I'd been searching for quite awhile, I'd let my hair get to looking pretty awful. I found great reviews for Heavenly Hair, and thought, why not?

Search over! Sarah completely wowed me. She and I are from different generations, and although she does all sorts of things with her own har, she gets just about how far I'm willing to go. She always asks before we start, what it is I'm looking for that day. My first visit, I said "I have no idea. Are you comfortable with me saying just do whatever you think would look good?" She was delighted. It turned out great and I'm not going anywhere else. Besides the cut, she has a great eye for the use of color and highlighting.

The atmosphere is completely unpretentious, which I love. I'm 50, and I'm not eager to be around a bunch of superior-acting, aloof "in" types, which is what I've always found at high-end salons. This place is for normal people! It isn't inexpensive, but the peace of mind (knowing you are going to love your hair, every time) is worth every penny.

8/02/2012 I needed some highlights really bad because my roots were beginning to show . And being new to the area left me at a loss of where to go. I asked a neighbor and she suggested Heavenly Hair Salon. I explained to them during my call I wanted highlights and they set my appointment up with Toni. Toni is Awesome, through and through, her style, her hair, and personality in general. I felt comfortable and at ease with her. Going to a new salon can definitely be an intimidating experience, but Heavenly Hair definitely was not !

Toni is super nice and gave me some Awesome Highlights that resulted in great compliments.

I'm very satisfied. If you want to be satisfied check this place out. I am definatley going to go back to Toni from now on. I haven't gone to any of the other stylists but everyone there seems really nice and wants you to feel comfortable during your appointment. The salon is clean, bright, and modern.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Antonella!. I almost don't want to tell anyone because I'm nervous I won't be able to get appointments (yes, pretty selfish, I know), but I LOVE Antonella!!

About three weeks ago I went to the salon for a cut and color correction. My hair had been dark brown with some purple (and those parts had been bleached first) then very dark brown with fire-engine red over even MORE bleached parts, then a black-blue on top of that. Antonella (with the advice from Sarah) managed to get all the oops colors out and turned my hair into a beautiful copper-auburn-brown (I had requested "reddish-coppery" and she nailed the color I was thinking of!) She is an amazing stylist, her cutting techniques are fantastic. It is SO HARD to find someone that can cut very short women's hair and still keep it looking feminin, not like I just got back from the barber shop. BUT SHE DOES IT RIGHT.

On top of all that, the rest of the staff is very personable, the salon itself is adorable and relaxing, and it makes my "me time" (which I get very little of, as a single mom of 2) simply fabulous.

No need to search anymore!!!. I found this salon on the internet. After reading all the excellent reviews on it I decided to give it a try. I was in desperate need of haircolor and a haircut. I called and spoke with Toni, the owner, and made an appointment with her. She was wonderful! Very pleasant and friendly. I was very pleased with the decor of the place and the cleanliness of it. Toni did a wonderful job on my hair. My color looks great as well as the haircut! I will definetly be going back! Thanks Toni!! Susan

Toni is my new best friend. Found this salon through citysearch reviews. Made an appt with Toni for my long blah hair. Let me tell you, NO other stylist has even come close to making my hair look this good! She was so sweet and friendly (everyone in the salon is, no pretentiousness here!) She is the only stylist who layered my side bang correctly! The cut is awesome and she placed some highlights throughout my hair. The highlights are the perfect shade, very pretty color and noticeable and yet not skunk stripes. Definately adds dimension to my hair. I plan on making appts with her every 8 weeks to keep up with the cut. I have a tendency to skip cuts then after 12 weeks it hits me "hey my hair has no shape and looks horrid!" but now that I found Toni I see how wonderful my hair can be. I highly recommend this salon!

The absolute BEST salon in the Boston area!. I moved to Boston a few weeks ago after living on Cape Cod for three years (originally from South Florida), and ended up going to a Somerville salon upon the recommendation of a friend. I have been coloring my hair for over three years and I am extremely selective about the salons that I trust with my hair, as going to a salon should be a relaxing and rewarding experience, and not one of sheer shock and horror. After scheduling a coloring appointment with the Somerville salon and asking for a single process that matched my current warm chestnut hair color, I ended up with very dark, blue/purple hair, despite my indicating my distaste for dark purple-red hair. Absolutely shocked at how punk-rock/witchy my hair looked, and after learning that I couldn't get my color fixed at that salon during the same day - or even during the same week for that matter due to "overbooking" -, I frantically did an internet search for "best salons in Boston" and called Heavenly Hair hoping that they were able to fit in a new, last-minute client in need of a massive color correction. I called an hour before they closed (on one of their busiest days, as I later found out! ) and they told me that they would be more than willing to help me, despite how booked they were.

The salon is extremely easy to find as it's almost immediately after exit 39 on I-93 N, and after rushing there to get the problem fixed ASAP I was greeted to an extremely friendly, caring, and professional atmosphere, and I immediately noticed the close-knit and family-like vibe that the salon has, which was a breath of fresh air!

I explained what happened earlier in the day (and showed them my witchy looking hair), and after showing my stylist what color I was hoping for via pictures in one of their magazines, I ended up getting my hair stripped and re-colored to literally the EXACT same color that I was hoping for. My stylist, Antonella, did everything that she could to keep the integrity/health of my hair in tact, and I honestly feel as though my hair is healthier and shinnier now, even after how much trauma it went through in that single day, because of the care and skill that she placed into my hair.

This salon is truly about beautiful healthy hair, and I know for a fact that most salons will do whatever it takes to strip color out of your hair for a color correction, without even caring or paying mind to the fact that your hair could be potentially damaged as a result. Antonella did everything within her power to NOT just strip my hair for the sake of ease and saving-time, and because of that my hair feels and looks absolutely amazing.

I normally don't make reviews of places that I visit, and I normally don't create an online account to make reviews in the first place, but because I personally decided to come to this salon due to positive reviews that I read online, I felt that it was only right to let the rest of the world know just how accurate all of these positive reviews are. I really cannot stress enough how absolutely amazing all of the stylists are, and how well they listen to and care for their client's and their client's vision! They stayed an extra three hours past closing time (on St. Patrick's Day, none-the-less!) to help me achieve the look that I wanted, and I have never had my hair look this good before!

As someone who is pretty serious about her hair services, this salon beats the heck out of any salon in Boston, and I cannot stress enough how brilliant these stylists are.

Don't be fooled by the flashy names and websites of salons IN Boston, as location has nothing to do with stellar services and products! This truly is the best salon in Massachusetts, as far as I'm concerned!

The Best!!!!. I also called Heavenly Hair Salon today. Like Nancy, I had colored my own hair and had selected a tone that was too dark and boring.I spoke with the receptionist, Samara, on the phone and she was so nice...I knew I'd like the salon even before I got there. She said that although they closed at 2 on Tuesdays, I would not be rushed and that the stylist would stay later to accomodate whatever I needed.

My stylist was also Sarah....and she was fabulous! She knew right away what I was looking for during the consultation. She made me feel comfortable and explained the process as we went along. She changed the dull brown to a golden blonde with gorgeous highlights! The cut was perfect too.

The owner Toni was also there and she was very friendly as well.All of the clients and staff had a great time chatting together and everyone looked fabulous as they left!

I want to thank Sarah for making me feel so pampered. My husband has been undergoing treatments for cancer and it has been a very stressful time.Not only did she do wonders for my hair,her kindness helped to lift my spirits. Thank you so much!!!!! PS---He loves my hair too!

Another Great Experience. Just wanted to follow up on another review I wrote, when Sarah had done a fabulous job coloring my hair. This time, I had her cut it. What a great cut! She made it look wonderful for a party I was going to on Saturday, but the real test of the quality of the cut would come when I styled it myself. Yesterday I washed and blew it dry myself, and amazingly enough I made it look fabulous too! That is something I had never been able to do before! I know it's a great cut, since I could style it so easily and it looked just right. She had given me some styling tips, and they really worked. She's a star, and I'm so glad I found her!
