Don't Live Here. Ever..
This is the third apartment I've lived in, and it is by far the worst. The management doesn't care about you; all they are care about is your money. The facilities are nice, but they're not worth the hassle. When you move in, they have you fill out a "roommate form" so (they say) they can match you with someone you can get along with. THEY DON'T WORK!! The first person they stuck me with was a complete nutcase who would throw screaming fits and beat on the walls at night. They claim they do background checks on their residents, but she'd had multiple charges for assault that they "failed to notice". She was eventually evicted when she was arrested for trying to attack our other roommate with a knife. The person who moved in after that was great, but she was moved from another apartment where her roommates were smoking pot all the time (which is against the lease, supposedly). There have been two shootings and a robbery in the 18 months I've lived there. There's also no way to get out of your lease without finding someone to sublease. The third person they moved into my apartment seemed nice at first, but she, too, had wild parties where people were smoking pot or snorting drugs (seriously). When I tried to go to the management about her, I was blown off.
This place is ridiculous. Don't ever live here.

Overall the apartments themselves are well built and maintained. It is often noisy being a college type apartment complex. Ask current residents about electricity overcharges if/when you ever get a chance. It always seemed shady to me, but I don’t have the space to get into it in this review. My main complaint is with the management at College Suites. The person does not care about her residents. I had to have several encounters with her because of troublesome roommates (while on this subject, the roommate questionnaire does not work at all…) and it seemed like I was blown off each time. When I had to move out due to a change in employment, the office at College Suites had me fill out a form to help me look for a sub-leaser and then told me to turn in my keys. A week later a get a final account statement and find that they had slapped on as many charges as they could. I’m also told that if someone specifically asks for a five month lease then they would direct them to me… So in other words, we are not going to help you get a sub-leaser. To sum up the review, be careful if you decide to move into College Suites. Management will only see you as a walking check and not a person.
Here is a final red flag. As I was moving out an employee at College Suites was just outside my apartment. This person asked if I was moving in or out. I answered that I was moving out. The employee proceeds to tell me that I am lucky…
