It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; this Watertown neighborhood restaurant and pub reads like a Tale of Two Bars. Before its renovation, Conley's was about as grizzled as the older townie types who congregated at the cramped "authentic" bar. But a transformation into a sleek Irish sports pub (complete with flatscreens and a focus on quality dining) has elevated Conley's to the ranks of the respectable. Old-timers need not fret, however, as the duplex setup of the room leaves the original bar for the Bud-and-a-shot crowd, while families and 20-something sports fans can relax…

Conley's is a member of the LocallyGreen network. They recycle all of their waste vegetable oil locally -- kudos for 'going green'!

Take advantage of weekly specials, like half-price appetizers on Mondays and 25-cent wings with a pitcher of beer on Tuesdays.
When to Go:
Watertown fans of local sports teams congregate to watch the game, big and small, which makes for a boisterous, but not overly crowded atmosphere.
What to Drink:
They don't offer much in the way of fancy cocktails, but they know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness.
Parking:
Street parking is usually plentiful in Watertown, although finding a space directly in front might be more difficult on busy nights. Plan accordingly.
