Great sushi, nice atmosphere. My husband and I decided to try Two Koi for our anniversary this year. We thought it was great. The server we had (Cruz) was excellent. He had wonderful food suggestions for us. He checked back with us often to make sure we were doing well. We really enjoyed the food. We did not think it was over priced. We left very full and paid what we would normally pay for dinner at our other favorite local restaurants.…
Do yourself a favor and go to Fujiya instead!!.
I have tried Two Koi once before and it was okay. My husband and I went back the other day for lunch and had a horrible experience. He ordered the sushi plate and was completly grossed out by the
food. When the sushi arrived at the table it looked old and didn't have the usual vibrant color we are used to seeing. He tasted 2 different pieces of sushi and basically could not eat them. They tasted very "fishy" and were slimy. We think they were trying to use up the weekend sushi - we went there on a Monday. He ordered something different (chicken), and when we told the waitress that the fish was bad she told us that the owner looked at the sushi we sent back and she didn't think there was anything wrong with it. They didn't apologize, and when we asked to speak to the owner, she never came to our table. Lousy service!!!
Really - do yourselves a favor and go to FUJIYA in downtown. We have been there many times and have never had bad fish and have always gotten excellent service.…
