Great store, crappy salespeople. I've never had a problem with any Ulta or this Ulta before. I love Ulta, especially since they carry Butter London nail products, which is my favorite brand. However, today I had a horrible experience with Lisa. Let me give you a quick rundown of how this happened.

Essentially, Lisa pointed out my boyfriend's hickey. Which was no big deal, whatever. Then she came back and asked him if he was "high out of his gourd." (My boyfriend has an nystagmus which naturally causes his eyes to not open as far as other people's.) I was shocked, and then she said "we have taco chips in the back, man, just saying." She came back again and noticed black marks on the floor. She accused me and my friend and boyfriend of putting them there with mascara. (We didn't.) I replied that we hadn't done anything and she stomped away. She came back YET AGAIN and said to me that she was upset that I had lied, because she had just reviewed the security cameras and saw us doing it. She had only been gone for maybe two minutes, I don't even think it was possible for her to review the tapes. I was seriously getting pissed and responded that we hadn't done anything and she mumbled something under her breath and rolled her eyes. I put back the things I was going to buy and left.

Lisa has a horrible attitude, and because of her I will not be returning to Ulta - at least not the McKnight Road location.

Kim is FABULOUS!!!. So, I recently had my hair cut by a pretty upscale salon in Shadyside. Although I had high hopes, I was completely unsatisfied with my cut. I asked the stylist to cut my bangs...she refused!!! On a very random day, I walked into Ulta looking for lip gloss and nail polish, and walked out with a wonderful haircut. I was (and still) seriously surprised with the results. I'm not the high-style type of girl with an edgy hair cut. I have long boring hair, but I love swooping bangs to cover my forehead a little bit. Kim, the stylist who trimmed my bangs and framed my face was NICE, considerate, patient, and willing to listen to me. She agreed that I needed to shorten my bangs and suggested another layer to give my hair "flow." I am so excited to glaze my hair with Kim next week too!!! Ulta is EXTREMELY convenient, and I like all the makeup too. I agree with the previous reviewer that the stylists are distracted with customer questions...but that's how I met Kim. The best stylist in Pittsburgh!!!

Miss my favorite stylist!. Ulta really surprised me as a high quality salon. I've been going for over a year, and I've been happy since day one. Staff is always friendly, customers always walk out looking great, and it's usually pretty easy to get an appointment. My only complaint is that my favorite stylist has recently moved on. If anyone knows how to find LACY, please let me know!!!
