Great sandwich, got the SloppyJoe with cheese and extra onions and it was really good. The bun is hallow and stuffed with the sloppy meat and cheese. I usually like mine with more of a BBQ taste but it was still really good. Get a cold strawberry crush in a glass bottle and a bag of fritos and you have the perfect lunch. they gave me tootsie rolls which was a nice touch. I'll be going back for sure.
- Pros: big portions and cheap prices
- Cons: not enough outdoor seating
Really good and right on target. Near Ravinia Festival and Metra train stop. Easy and tasty.

Sloppy Jo's Lunchroom in Highland Park's Ravinia district is bound to be a popular hangout for nannies and parents with kids in tow. The eats are simple and cheap (nothing exceeds a few bucks), including the namesake Sloppy Jo, tuna salad sandwiches and hot dogs (available plain, Cheesy or Sloppy).
- Pros: Big tasty portions. Super clean and trendy graphics. Good for adults and the kids.
- Cons: Very small - sometimes a line, but it moves quickly.
