I had advised consumer to replace carpet rather than clean due to the carpet having many bleach outs and yellow urine stains. Consumer wanted to try cleaning against my advice and was told stains would not come out and decided to have us clean anyway. Consumer lives 75 miles from business and we did go back to clean a second time with same results at no added charge. As for personal attacks they were unnecessary and do not apply to the situation. Our company was courteous and honest right from the begining. Ed O'Brien

unfortunately, I have been very unlucky with Down to Earth. They are, in fact, courteous but they ruined my carpet. We had just bought a house with a gorgeous ivory carpet in the living area. After they cleaned it though it became covered with yellowish stains that didn't come out even after they tried to fix the problem. It appears that we will now have to replace the carpet and with $400 cleaning fee (which they didn't refund) we are looking at a very expensive proposition. As of today, I can't even reach them, the owner first told me that his wife was sick and now that he is sick himself so he can't come... I am very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this service.
