Sorry. I have now visited 12 different cupcake stores in the Boston area.

Very disappointed with Kickass cupcakes. We had heard wonderful thing about them.

A group of 5 of us paid a visit last week and all found the cupcakes ery dry and the frosting way to sweet for our taste.

The value is just not there either.

Probably the most quality cupcake in Boston. I love Kickass. I really do. It took me a while to come around to them. But I honestly consider them the best cupcakes in the Boston area. I have been satisfied if not thrilled with most every cupcake I've gotten there (which is lot). Flavors I've gotten lately include: strawberry lemonade, Lucky, Lemon Snap, Mocchiatto. The cupcakes are always flavorful, not dry. The frosting is EXCELLENT, possibly my favorite part. It manages to be light and fluffy while always being rich and perfectly sweet. I also love the space. They are a tad pricier than I'd like, but they are pretty awesome.

Cute but not worth the cost.. Kickass Cupcakes is a great idea that needs a lot of fine tuning. The flavors are enticing, but the size doesn't match the cost. $2.95 for one cupcake?

great cupcake. I had the pecan cinnamon caramel cupcake and it was delicious. Before visiting the new store on the block, I read some brief reviews about the price being about $2.95 a cupcake. I thought to myself, well maybe they are really big. Well they aren't. I suggest this place to people who really enjoy cupcakes made from fresh ingredients. But for me, I think I would rather spend $20 on a cake rather than 6 kickass cupcakes.

Editorial Review. Davis Square dessert spot churns out specialty cupcakes (flavors include cherry cheesecake, mojito and banana cream) and other festive treats.
