I took my parents there for dinner one Friday night. It was bad all around. Service was just ok, food was either tasteless or way too salty. The dishes were way too pretentious. Too much going on, on the plate. Less is more I say. I'm a cook and the dishes have too many ingredients. I agree with the first review about the chips and sauce. IT'S NACHO CHEESE SAUCE! The fish was overcooked so it was a little mushy. The veggies were sitting out for a while, not cooked to order. The decor is awesome though. They should consider changing their menu to reflect maybe five regional dishes from five or six Latin countries, and keep them simple. I wouldn't go back and my parents asked not to take them their again. A big disappointment for all of us.
- Pros: Decor
- Cons: The food

my friend and i happened to find this latin gem in simi valley on our way to shop. the restaurant was beautifully decorated and since it was a saturday they had a live band playing outside(very nice). we were seated promptly and our waiter was very helpful recommending drinks and entrees. the waiter brought out chips with salsa hummus; so yummy. the prices were not too outrageous. the drinks were very good(strong too LOL!) i ordered the tequila lime shrimp with pasta and my friend ordered the salmon caribbean(which came with garlic whipped potatoes and veggies). our waiter was very attentive and efficient(think he was the only waiter and the bartender; great job). the ambiance was very nice and on the weekends they have a club at night and on sundays they have brunch. my friend ordered the lobster mashed potatoes to go and we almost lost our minds when we tasted it....so good and tasty definitely have to order that. my dish was very good the tequila lime sauce was creamy and the shrimp was sauteed to perfection. my friend's salmon was juicy and moist inside and had a cripsy sweetness to it on the outside and sat on top on the potatoes(nice presentation). I WOULD DEFINTELY BE BACK TO LIMON AND I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TRYIN IT OUT. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! I PROMISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Pros: nice and quick sevice, willing to explain menu items, great food
- Cons: no cons
