When I first started tanning here I absolutely loved it, their beds are great and pretty clean compared to some other tanning salons I've visited and worked at. However they do always ask if I need lotion but they don't hassle you as much anymore once they start seeing you with lotions in your hand, however there are those ones that will give you an attitude or tell you that you can only tan for a certain amount of time. The only problems I've had with the Revere :location was one night I came in later than usual (around 8:40-8:45) and the manager said all of the beds were shutting off in 5 minutes but I could still go if I wanted as long as I hurried up, which I felt like it was just a huge lie so she could leave on time. Yet the next time I went in, one of the girls who was working there that night the manager told me about the beds, answered the phones and told another customer they closed at 6. I commented that since the beds supposedly shut off at a certain time that she should probably mention that to the customers..her only response was "oh yeah, you were there that night" and quickly changed the subject. Overall I do enjoy tanning there, as long as I make it in time "before the beds shut off" lol

Darque Tan. I have had a membership with Darque Tan in Revere for quite some time now. The location is great, the hours are good ( open seven days a week and nights) but recently have been thinking about cancelling my membership.

I use the Mystic spray booth. I pay about 50.00 each month and like to spray tan once a week. The spray machine at the Revere location is old and has had problems for as long as i can remember. Why doesn't Darque Tan replace it??!! The employees simply tell you- to drive to swampscott (20 minutes away!) i do not have a membership in Revere so that i have to drive to Swampscott to tan! The response to when the machine, that has been BROKEN for one week now should be fixed...?? that they are "waiting for part, I really don't know when it will be fixed", along with a refusal to give me corporate's phone number to make a complaint.

Darque Tan in Revere is most likely losing a long term client of theirs due to thier careless attitude toward consumer needs.

DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!. Seroiusly, if all you want to do is get a tan, than don't go here!!! There is NO such thing at Darque as jusy buying a monthly package and tanning. Everytime that you go in, you are HARRASSED to upgrade, buy lotions etc. Just to sign up, it took 30 minutes because the girl was rambling on. Also, they get pissed if you don't upgrade and they make up their own rules with the amount of time you can tan. For instance, they put you in for half of the time and only increase you by 1 minute each visit. This is their SCAMMING way to get you to buy an upgrade. Don't be fooled by them! I have been tanning occasionally over the last 18 years, mostly at Revere Tanning and have NEVER been hassled and have NEVER been told that I could only tan for half of the time. Do yourself a favor and don't bother joining Darque!

Best in Revere. WIth the 6813846 number of tanning salons in the area I've tried them all. This one is not a bad option. They are really clean, the staff is really friendly, and they are pretty cheap comparatively. No complaints so far, but it has only been a few months. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is a hardcore tanner as their beds are pretty advanced.
