a hidden gem in audubon(alphabet soup cafe). THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SPOTS THAT JUST RE OPENED 3 WEEKS AGO!ITS NOW CALLED ALPHABET SOUP CAFE(AND IS AGAIN ONE OF MY FAVORITE SPOTS) GEEZ, I AM IN MY GLORY!!!! CHEF JAYSON HAS STELLER COOKING SKILLS USING ONLY HIGH END QUALITY FOOD! AND I AM HAPPY TO SAY I WAS A SLAVE TO HIS MULTI TASTING COURSE MENU-HE BLEW ME AWAY(AS ALWAYS) AND MADE MY NIGHT XTRA SPECIAL!!!! (wanna fill ya all in on my birthday treat of his tasting menu)

CAULIFLOWER SOUP pureed and topped w TRUFFLE OIL, BACON &CHIVES

LOBSTER ROLL W Homemade POTATO CHIPS SLICED baked into a sandwich, plated w ASPARAGUS SALAD W HOUSE VINAGRETTE THAT WAS LIGHT AND CITRUSY

SEA SCALLOP SEARED W CORN RELISH(The searing had a thickness that made this melt in my mouth and savor the carmelization!)

Organic SALMON (sashimi style that had not an ounce of fishiness-soo fresh w a MANGO RELISH that made this course POP!)

DUCK leg pan seared crispy outside moist inside w a tangerine fruit slice salad that added a neat coolness twist!

LAMB CHOP w asparagus tips, shitaake mushrooms and creamy GOAT CHEESE W light BREAD CRUMBS OMG DEVINE this all was!

Then there was dessert (I opted for the loose tea chamomile in a huge bodum carafe-) & my friend ate both desserts

RASPERRY CHEESE CAKE & CREME BRULEE! When I tell ya the facial expressions were priceless watching this feast LOL!!!! Died and went to heaven!!!

When a foodie (like myself) goes to a mind blowing place I personally am ecstatic to spread the word and share my experiences!

Alphabet Soup is to die for. I love this place!!!!!The food was impecable, the decor is soothing and very inviting. I had the shrimp and grits which melted in my mouth. Not being a "grit" fan, the combination of tomato and pesto was amazing. My husband had calamari which was breaded very lightly and mouth watering, the green goddess tartar sauce was TO DIE FOR!!!!! I have never had such succulent calamari. For dinner I had the Cod, which I have to say was the best I have EVER had. The combination of sweet corn and spinach and bits of bacon made me just want more, I almost licked my plate clean. My husband had the Flat iron steak which was cooked perfectly and oh so tender. They started doing these garlic chips which are made fresh to order, you can't stop eating them. Oh yea, I almost forgot. My 14 month old daughter loved the mac and cheese. I was so happy that they were so accomadating for my whole family. I would highly recomend Alphabet Soup. Not only for those ramantic nights out , but, also on a Tuesday night with the family. The owners were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make us happy. I see this place as a perfect family restaurant, not only was the food fantastic, the plate presentation was picture perfect. I would love to have a private party there. I can't wait to go back and try lunch and brunch.

Awesome Lobster Roll! Great Prices.. Recently went to Alphabet soup and had a fantastic lobster roll! I personally think it's better than the one at B&G Oysters in Boston. All enters are under $20, with the exception of the lobster roll, which is market price. My fiance?s cod was delicious as well. We shared the white wine and tomato mussels for our appetizer; however, there were no tomatoes in our dish. My only tiny complaint ? I wish they would provide bread while you wait for your appetizers and entrees. BUT, they did just reopen, so maybe they are getting back into the groove of things. Overall, a great dining experience! Highly recommended.

Thank Goodness Alphabet Soup is BACK!!!. I had several opportunities to visit the quaint little town of Audubon to dine at Alphabet Soup. Not knowing what to expect of the menu, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that besides wonderful soup, there was Lamb, salmon, bass, prime steak, scallops, risotto, foie gras, fresh baked cookies and so much more!!!! Apparently the restaurant could not survive in the sleepy but pretty little town and the owner decided to close for a bit, work on some other projects and retool the menu. Now it is opening very soon I hear from a friend and the menu will offer more less expensive options (although for a byob I never thought it was pricey). More items on the menu and less expensive in reaction to these trying times. Now a night out is even more affordable. I had the pleasure of planning a family event there and I look forward to the next time!!
