Editorial Review for Baily's Fine Dining – by Tara de Lis
In Short
Located in a bilevel building with a stately bay-widows, this husband-and-wife-run eatery is a local's favorite for special occasions, as well as a popular spot for visitors. Upon entry, hosts escort guests upstairs--away from the ground floor's more casual Front Street Bar & Grill sister restaurant--where four distict white-table-cloth dining areas await, including a covered patio. The menu focuses on a mix of Californian cuisine with international influences, such as tequila-flambed shrimp and chicken schnitzel to more traditional tastes like steak Diane and salmon Wellington.

Insider Tips
When to GoThursday nights feature fresh local produce, wine tasting, arts, crafts and more in the downstairs courtyard. There's live music in the bar Thursdays through Saturday nights.
What to DrinkThe medium-length wine list is manageable and not too highly marked up. Selections are mostly Californian, including Baily's own wines, and a handful of some of the more established local vintners. Corkage is $20 per bottle.
Fun FactDesserts like the signature white chocolate vanilla bean cheesecake are made in-house by an oft-complimented teenage pastry chef.
