IMO this was a low budget movie with a comic book storyline from the 70's (though I can't put a name to what comic book it was in I can't help but feel I have seen this story line in a comic book format as a kid, even the "unique" story aspects were not new to me, just cute). The one redeeming feature was how laugh out loud funny the shocking scenes were-over the top doesn't express it well enough. Robert Rodriguez "Planet Horror" type of funny. Sadly the movie takes itself seriously-but that makes it even funnier. Go for a laugh but not for a good horror flick, this one isn't it.
Pros: Jungle was real enough, pretty actresses, funny horror scenes
Cons: The Pyramid was a bust. Better Maya-like pyramid replicas are at putt putt golf courses.

Horrible film; predictable, really terrible acting, gory for the sake of being gory (which can work, but not in this film), and the worst script ever! Lines that made laugh out loud because they were so lame (not because they were meant to be funny). On the plus side, some cool ideas were used here and there, a touch of originality. But not near enough to make up for everything else.
Pros: two tiny original ideas in the storyline
Cons: acting, plot line, script/writing, cost of ticket with relation the quality of the film
