I GOT BIT BY A BAT HERE!. DANGER! DO NOT GO THERE! I just want to warn everyone of my experience so that no one ever has to go through what I did. At Cadillac Ranch I was upstairs inside the bar and a bat (yes an animal bat) bit me. I immediately was driven to the ER at Vanderbilt University, where I started to receive the rabies vaccines (because we did not know if the bat was infected or not). I called the manager that day. He assured me that he would call me back regarding my situation after he talked to the owner of Cadillac Ranch. After that I called SEVERAL times and left messages. I know the bar knew that the bat was there when I got bit since a man stepped on its wing and a bouncer who works for the bar was shining a flashlight on it (plus there are witnesses that saw me bleeding). The management or anyone from the bar has yet to call me back! Since then I have been to the ER three more times to get the vaccines necessary to fight against the rabies infection. Not only did the shots make me sick, but I also had to miss work. The total sum of the bills, so far, is over $10,500 (this is a hell of a cover charge). After this terrible experience and no help from the management AT ALL, I just want to warn everyone not to go there. Any management who doesn’t care about the safety of their customers does not deserve to be in business in my opinion!
Great Crew and Manager goes out of way to help customer. My daughter recently had her wallet taken while visiting in Nashville. Several weeks later Roger ,manager of Cadillac Ranch contacted her to report the cleaning staff had found her wallet. He went above and beyond and mailed the wallet to her .Nice to know that Nashville is the home of great people Of course the manager is a Kentucky boy.LOL
FAVORITE PLACE IN NASHVILLE FOR LIVE MUSIC & DRINKS. We came to the Ranch on our Anniversary when we were walking past and heard an amazing singer (Steven Clawson) so we went in. We sat at a table and listened to music and drank a bit. The prices were reasonable, the music was phenomenal, and the drinks were delicious! We should have stayed there the whole night! We had a great time and would happily recommend this place to everyone!!!
Some Great Bands And Singers Poor Servce. We have been giong here for about a year. We follow a Great band That Performs There On some weekends.. The All Worked Up Band.. They are great. but The Sound System Could be better. We also enjoy some of the other bands and singers they have there .Who ever picks the music for the main stage does well, however in my experience the service sucks... I Have only found 1 good server in the place i believe her name is Meghan. all our other experiences with servers and the bartenders has not been good. They are RUDE PEOPLE and slow in taking care of customers. This is a great place i think the biggest on broadway and the bull is cool. They just need to train their ppl better to take care of the customers....when ppl are happy they come back and bring their friends..
Aways Been a BIG Fan!.
This was the first bar in Nashville that I went to when I turned 21. I had an awesome time because there's live music until 11:00pm, and then it switches over to a DJ from there. The bartenders are super skilled and are always readily available to grab you a drink. Although the drinks are a little pricey, the bartenders usually over-pour (which is a total plus)!!
There are two levels and even a back VIP room that is decorated with some super swaggin' effects. ALL OF THE BATHROOMS ARE CLEAN AND HAVE ATTENDANTS THAT ARE SOOOO FUNNY!
Thank you, Cadillac Ranch, for making my 21st so awesome...Although that birthday was over two years ago, I still think about how much fun I had on the mechanical bull and dance floor!
I am a customer who always returns to CR whenever I am in town.
This place gives Nashville a bad name....
Sure it may look cool, have a good sound system.. But that is where the buck stops.
I recently moved here and honestly regret my visit every time I enter the doors at Cadillac Ranch.
Tonight I witnessed a huge 340 pound bouncer throw a 100 pound woman out (if you're familiar with the place, it's the large black bouncer with black rimmed glasses.. He's a real instigator when it comes to fights. Thank god this place employs him because he may be too stupid to do anything else but toss women out of a bar.) They then handcuffed the girl and said they were going to charge her for trespassing... How about that for customer service, take paying customers and turn them into criminals! Cadillac Ranch has got to be an A+ with the Better Business Bureau......
I'd rather go to Tootsies or Legend's Corner. Those bars are more fun and you wont have to worry about women getting tossed head first out on the street, they'd probably just do the right thing and ask you to leave (if you need to go).
Never felt more insulted in my life!!!!!.
I recently moved from Huntsville, AL to Nashville and this past weekend my girlfriend and a good buddy of mine came up to visit. We started off at a couple bars off of the beaten path(Broadway). Got to Cadillac Ranch paid the cover. My girl and my buddy went to the restroom right away while i went to the bar to buy a round, two beers and one mix drink and a redbull vodka at that, nothing crazy. I GIVE THE BARTENDER $20, i wait for my change, i see the bartender bringing change to others around me so i thought she forgot about me. So i said excuse me i didnt get my change and she said "OH YOU SERIOUSLY WANT YOUR 2 DOLLARS BACK!!!". I told her in a little pissed off tone of voice at this point "Sorry ive never been here before i dont know how much drinks cost." Regardless of how much my change is the bartender shouldnt just assume its a tip, i know they're busy. FIRST OF ALL WHO WOULD THINK 3 DRINKS, WHICH 2 OF 3 WERE BEERS WOULD TOTAL UP TO $18. How hard is it to put my change in front of me on the bar. So i walk away and bring the drinks to my friends on the front patio, also where the bouncers are where customers can re-enter im assuming. I'm 26 and always a happy drunk, i've never been kicked out of bar before and i've never caused any problems and i dont consider myself to be sensitive, but i am so pissed that i walk back to the bartender and tell her you just dont assume its a tip and she tells me "If you dont like it you can just leave!!!" Then a female customer to my left says "Are you really going to be a dousch about it". So now im getting attacked from both angles, lol! Then i walk out to the patio to tell the bouncer, he says we'll take care of this, then he also tells me "If you don't like it you can just leave", and i said "Oh this is how we're gonna handle this". 2 seconds later 2 big bouncers come and escort me out. Still enraged i run my mouth off the bouncer a few more times from the other side of the patio then my girlfriend and buddy finally calmed me down.
Like other reviews i read dont waste your time, go to other venues. Especially if you are looking for live music. Im still pretty new here so im learning where to go and not to go. So far ive really enjoyed the Flying Saucer at Union Station, reasonably priced beer from all over world and live music on Saturday nights. The Tin Roof was a good time as well.
This is a tourist trap so beware!!!! Beer is $3.50 a bottle, real nashville bands do not play here, the staff is rude, and security tries to start fights not stop them. Good luck with the place though and there tourist beer!
If you want to see real live music in Nashville stay away from this place and Rock Bar next door (same people). Try going to Exit/In, Mercy Lounge, or The Rutledge if you want to see good live music. This place gets whoever can strum a guitar to play, then want you to pay outrageous prices.
It is pretty bad when you have to have your staff get on here and write good things about you!
Don't bother. I live in Nashville and this place does NOT represent Nashville nightlife. Too big and cavernous to be a music venue... the sound just bounces all over the place... and you can hear the music from the karaoke bar clearly on the CR side (and likewise, the CR music comes through to WannaBe's). Too many people talking while the performers are onstage makes it too noisy to enjoy music. Service was awful. Our server wanted us to close out our tab while the band was still onstage. When a friend arrived later, it was all we could do to get her a menu and then get the server to stop at our table so she could order. Last call was 12 midnight and within minutes they were pushing us out the door. Another thing - we were there fairly early and while the bar staff was setting up, they were throwing empty liquor bottles into a large garbage can, making horrible noise that was very unpleasant to our ears. SO not worth it...
